How would the pros negotiate on this used BMW X1?

Howdy all - I found a car that has all the packages, etc that I have been looking for. The car is located in another state and I will likely ship it back to myself.

I've attached a copy of the "deal" from the dealer after speaking with them this evening. The price of the car is good, but they are tacking on a ton of BS (in my opinion) charges to inflate the price way up.

I would like to purchase the car for $23k and am OK with the shipping charges if it comes right to me. Not interested in paying the UCI (their Used Car Inspection fee), or the doc fees, or especially not the Vehicle Sentry Theft Protection.

How would the pros recommend to negotiate back with them? I am ready to purchase the car if the other misc charges were removed.

    Me? I'd offer $21,500 and leave the fees in place. That way, you're getting the price you want without haggling over the fees and add-ons.

    Since they gave you an "out-the-door" price ($26,302), I would offer $24,700 out-the-door and delivered.
    ($26302 - $1580 garbage fees)

    That way, you don't have to get into the specifics, at all.
