Seller sold the car to other buyer after accepting my offer and deposit

The seller accepted my offer and I paid the deposit. The seller agreed to hold the car for me until tomorrow morning. Given the short notice, the seller asked me to finish the transaction today. I went to bank but it already closed due to reduced hours due to COVID19. I called seller to explain and she said she sold the car to other buyer who have cash in hand.

Can the seller do that?

You'll have to prove financial losses. Also, no judge is going to order the sale of the car.

What is it you hope to accomplish?

Look for another vehicle.
