Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? Is it better to try to get a lease at the end of June or the beginning of July? Is June the end of the year for dealerships?

Thanks

No, there is no fiscal "end of year" that makes any difference when purchasing a car.

Anecdotally, EOM is better than beginning.

@kyfdx thank you - you have been really helpful. i am stuck between 3 makes/models and trying to find the better way to go. stuck between the VW Atlas; Hyundai Palisade; Kia Telluride. You were able to help me on my posts. I am trying to see if there is any benefit in trying to get the deal within the next few days or wait til 4th of July "deals." Any insight for that?

Sorry, no predictions on what the July programs will look like.

FWIW, the Hyundai and Kia will lease more expensively than the VW. Small discounts and poor lease programs contribute to this.
