    Hey there - Looking to see the RV and MF for a 2021 RDX Advanced in 77002 - in my first conversation, I was told the MF for the RDX is set at .00225 which is way crazy compared to what i'm seeing here.

    Hi all,
    I’m trying to calculate my lease deal on an Acura RDX ASPEC.
    MSRP: $47,825
    SELLING COST: $44,092
    ZIPCODE: 11368
    Upfront costs:
    1st month Payment: $510.57
    Acquisition: $595
    Fees & insurance: 99.43
    Upfront taxes: $1703.40
    Total upfront: $2,908.40.

    I keep getting a different upfront cost. I’m confused on how they are calculating the taxes. Can someone help me out? Thanks

    You pay double taxes if you live in Chicago - one set for the state (probably the up front amount), then on the monthly payment assessed by the city. Total tax burden somewhere around 17% (ouch).

    I’ve been interested in leasing a 2021 RDX ASPEC but I’m hoping for a better deal. I’m looking to wait until the end of the summer or possibly right before the end of the year to lease one. I’ve heard that during those times, value of the car can drop and since the new models are out, they try to push
    Previous model year out the lot. Is it common to see great incentives during that time for this car specifically in zip code area 11368?

    We don't have any historical trends to cite. You can usually get a better price on a vehicle at the end of the model year, but the lease program might not be any good. There is just no way to tell.

    But, if the deals are bad now, and you don't have to lease a vehicle, you might as well wait.

    The lease programs could very well change - MF goes up, residual goes down, incentives change. Anything is possible in the next 3-6 months. Price is just one variable in the equation.
