    It's one amount

    But, it is a Volvo to dealer incentive. The only place you'll see it, is in a (hopefully) big discount on the selling price. As it isn't a consumer incentive, they don't have to disclose it.

    Thoughts on this deal? I feel like they’re coming in high on fees and building in a decent bit on the money factor.

    I live in 14625 but dealership is in 21740

    Here are the numbers they ran:

    MSRP $55,530
    Discount of $1,111 (going back and forth on this as they showed a larger discount on their website)
    Manuf Rebate $6,750
    Doc fee $500
    Title, reg, lease fees $1,179
    Tax $2,684.82 (I’m in Monroe county at 8% tax)
    Monthly payment of $672

    They showed a .00165 money factor and stated they have to mark up to make any profit on the deal.

    Thoughts?

    $1,000 due at signing and my lease trade in was worth $40k and I owe $37,420 (equity of $2,580)

    Using the "Balance" as the adjusted cap cost, I get $686/mo with the inflated MF they are using.

    The base MF of .00116 gives me a payment of $648/mo

    I would clarify the taxes used - NY only taxes the sum of the payments, while MD taxes the entire selling price. At 8%, I get roughly $1900 of taxes for NY.

    Working on my deal for an S60 and have a dealer telling me that they’d love to close the deal today as the rates will change tomorrow for September and he’s hearing the monthly will likely be about $45 a month worse for my deal.

    Does that sound like a line to you? I didn’t think there was any real insight about where the lease rates were moving ahead of time at the dealer level…
