Mazda MSD Program

It looks like now that Mazda is using Toyota instead of Chase they have an MSD program for leases.

At the moment, we don't have any additional information other than what you've linked.

With Toyota, you had to use the standard MF as the starting point if you wanted to utilize MSDs. Not sure if that will be the same under Mazda.

Toyota allows a maximum of 9 security deposits, each of which lower the MF by .00008 (.00072 total reduction)

With Toyota is it theoretically possible to get the MF all the way down to .00001 or are you left with whatever the remainder is? For example if the base MF is .00023, can you do 3 security deposits to get the MF to .00001, or would the best you can do be 2 security deposits to get to .00007

Does anyone have details for this? I asked the 6 Mazda dealers in my area in Seattle, WA and none of their managers sounded like they knew the program. They couldn't tell me how much each MSD reduced the MF by, or the interest accrued on the MSD. The Mazda website didn't have a contact on the MSD page either.

Most dealers probably aren't aware of the existence of the MSD program.

Hi @Michaell how do I add the MSD program to a lease if the dealer isn't familiar or claims they don't 'participate'?

You can't. If the dealer can't or won't do it, you are out of luck.
