Tax on a lease in CA is assessed monthly, so the tax item can be ignored.

No discount from sticker? Ouch (but, it's a Porsche).

I don't see any lease incentives on this model, so I'm wondering if the dealer is using the federal tax incentive incorrectly for the lease quote.

As is, if I use the MSRP and selling price as given (along with the buy rate MF), I get $1599/mo, plus tax.

So, the dealer quote is better, but I can't reconcile the numbers.

In CA, we recommend you start a lease with only the first payment and DMV costs paid at signing (which could easily be $2700 or so, as DMV costs are roughly 1.1% of MSRP).

The money factor is marked up.

I think your proposed selling price is unlikely. What Porsche dealer is going to sell a car for a 2% markup?

Is the quote you listed above for 36/12 or 36/15?

With the numbers provided, I calculate $1431/mo+tax vs. the dealer's $1435/mo ( including tax).
That is with the inflated MF. That implies some sort of discount from MSRP (maybe $3000?) in addition to the rebate.

You might get them to drop the MF to the base amount (.00200). That would knock about $90/mo. off the payment. That would put you around $1345, with $2700 Due at Signing.

That isn't cheap, but the residuals for this model are pretty low.
