Mazda CX-5 Gap Ins and Lease Protection Plans?

Hello, looking for information on how much is the GAP insurance per month on Mazda CX5 (touring or GT) and what are different Lease Protection plans i.e. tire protection/excess wear & tear/ any others that dealers offer and for how much? is it worth buying these plans? please let me know thanks

None of these programs have a set price.

We see dealers trying to sell TFS GAP insurance for as much as $900, but have seen it sold as cheap as $300.

wow! so in your experience have you ever paid any excess wear and tear or tire fees at the time of handing over the car (lease end) or do you generally always sign in a new lease with same brand/dealer?

In the half dozen leases I've had, not once have I had to pay any sort of damage fee at the end of the lease - and, on my last one, I shot a 3-4" diameter rock from my lawn mower into the lower passenger door of my leased Jetta.

When the inspector showed up, he shrugged it off and didn't write it up. If you take halfway decent care of your cars, you'll be fine.

Dealers like to use scare tactics to sell these plans.
