    Hi, I'm in southern CA (Rancho Mirage) and am considering purchasing (not leasing) a Range Rover P525 Westminster SWB. My dealer is claiming that there is little discount to no discount from MSRP. He's offeing a 1% discount. Truth or should I shop elsewhere?

    From what other members have reported, LR dealers are allergic to discounts from MSRP. A friend of mine bought a Discovery a couple years back and was able to negotiate 6-7% off MSRP, but that's the exception, rather than the rule.

    We do not have the one-pay info for LR, but usually in the .00060-.00100 range.

    With the starting MF as low as it is, the net MF will likely be either .00001 or .00005 (whichever the minimum MF is allowed).
