Lease buy out without certification

Hi there,
Is there a way to buy out a VW without certification or any other dealer fees? Unfortunately, the VW financial is too busy to take any phone calls right now.

Everything we've heard is that VW Credit won't sell you the car directly. They will require you to use a dealer to facilitate the purchase.

That sucks. It will cost me $1k+ on inspection and dealer fees just to buy out the car. What if I sell it to Carvana or Vroom before the lease ends? I have done it before with Honda without any issues and made even a profit as they are basically dealers too and don't pay sales tax.

You should be able to sell it to either Carvana or Vroom, and possibly turn a small profit.
