kyfdx-Sorry for all the back and forth; I'm just confused. Does this mean the dealer just manipulated the numbers to make more money? My husband went back to them to ask why the numbers were different than online and they swore up and down that 59% and .00199 was the best that Southeast Toyota makes available and that 62% and .00189 was only available from Toyota Motor which you can't finance through if in Florida. I get that their goal is to make money and that they don't have to voluntary disclose things but outright lying is a different thing entirely.

Dealers will say a lot of things to convince you they don't have a choice with the numbers they are using.

Dealers cannot alter the residual value - the bank will reject the contract.

You have a choice - shop a different dealer.

Multiple Security Deposits - a way to "buy down" the MF with monies that are returned to you at the end of the lease.
