Hey guys. I’m from Long island, NY (11040) and was just quoted a lease for a 2020 range rover velar p250 r-dynamic lease and was wondering if it was a good deal and if you guys think there is any wiggle room to negotiate pricing. This is a loaner car with already 3200 miles on it.

MSRP-67079.00
Selling price: 59718
Mileage: 10k/36
Monthly payment: 688.29
Acquisition fee: 895.00
fees and insurance: 157.50
upfront taxes: 2220.80
0 down payment
Edmunds money factor: .00001 and 56% residual
The dealer however quoted me a money factor of .00041 so I don’t know where that discrepancy is coming from and is it something I can negotiate with them in regards to the money factor??
Total cash required on delivery: 3961.59

    I confirm .00001 and 56%
There is also a $1350 incentive available on this model.

The dealer is marking up the MF for extra profit; insist on the base rate, or shop elsewhere (however, this is a pretty common tactic for most LR dealers, so you may want to consider a different brand).

Also, ask for the itemization of the up front cash.

For the up front cash they were asking for
    688.29- 1st month payment
    895-acquisition fee
157.5-fees and insurance (75-doc fee, 10.00-inspection, 60.00-license, 12.50-tire fee (is that even a legitimate fee to charge on??) )
    2220.80-upfront taxes (83.66-cap cost red tax at 8.625%, 2137.14-upfront tax at 8.625%)
    Total altogether upfront they're asking-3961.59

I used the leashacker calculator with the actual money factor and the utilization of the incentive, this is what i was getting:

    leasehackr.com/calculator?make=Land_Rover&miles=10000&msd=0&msrp=67079&sales_price=59718&months=36&mf=.00001&dp=0&dealer_fee=157.5&acq_fee=895&taxed_inc=0&untaxed_inc=1350&rebate=0&resP=56&reg_fee=0&sales_tax=8.625&demo_mileage=0&memo=Loaner%202020%20Range%20rover%20velar%20p250%20R-dynamic%20S%20with%203200%20miles&acqFee_check=true&totalLeaseTax_radio=true

Am I placing the numbers wrong in here somewhere to get such a big difference in the lease payments here? Cause if not, I'd obviously love to use these numbers to negotiate with the dealer. Thanks for all the help.

Leave the incentives out of the calculator. I'm guessing the calculator is reducing the CAP cost by the amount of that incentive, but your dealer has already accounted for the incentive within the selling price.

Hey Friend, were you able to negotiate down the MF? I've just got a pretty similar deal with a HUGE MF diff and was wondering if it worth it to try to negotiate (I hate to deal with dealers).

    Thanks

I would never sign for a lease deal with a marked up MF.

Hi guys- Im from Stamford (06907). Looking for MF for Range Rover Velar P 250 , 10 miles and a Range Rover Evoque SE. What do you do if the dealer does not want to share their back screen itemizing their numbers?
