Is there a limit to how much the dealers can inflate the MF? I was just quoted $1200/month on an $85k MSRP, which seems kind of steep. Wondering if they’re doing something there to make up for lack of sales…

There is probably a limit, but I don't know what it might be.

With a 49% residual, $1200 isn't surprising, even without the details

I have gotten quotes over the past couple days. They are $300/mo higher than my current lease with same purchase price and down payment on the Levante GranLusso - same packages, too. I may buy mine out.

That may be the best decision.

apparently for 2022, Maserati has changed the trim designations to GT (base), GTS (S) and Trofeo.

So the confusion was 2021 vs. 2022. For MY 2022, they changed the trim designations. For 2021 base, 36/12 the MF is .00024? If so, then dealer showed me a binder with inflated MFs as theirs showed .00053. Not shocking, but I did ask the guy if his MF were inflated and he looked at me with a straight face and said "no" after spending a couple hours with him making it clear I was going to check the numbers carefully. I want to make sure that a 2021 Levante Base model with grand Lusso package 36/12 would in fact be .00024.
