Car Dealer asking me to resign Deal at higher Price !

Hi, I bought a new Ford Escape 2021 a few days back. When I bought it I got a $750 student discount. I signed the contract, got the car and all was good. 3 days after the deal , I get a call from the dealer saying that I don't qualify for the student discount as I am not a full time student. The Masters program am part of allows me to get Practical training by work after 2 years of course work. So I am currently in the training phase of my course so I work in the field of my study but am not full time student. But I am still legally a student at my university and have access to all student resources. I wish they had told me this when I bought the car cus I would have just walked away. Now they are forcing me to sign a new contract $750 dollars higher. I am ready to return the car as I don't want this increased new deal. Can someone please help with what I can do?

Start by going to the Ford website and look up the incentive - it should show the qualifications necessary. Then you'll know if the dealer is legit about their position or not.

@vc56 Tell the dealer that you don't want the car, if the price is higher. And, if they can't fix it, you'll bring it back.
