We only show "standard" APR. We don't know what that is, but 9.1% APR seems to be in the neighborhood.

The lease payment will be broken into depreciation and finance charges. Multiply the monthly depreciation by the number of payments made, and subtract that from the adjusted CAP cost to get the current payoff (more or less)

If I'm not going to keep it and buy it and trade back in for the R, the lease saves almost $6k between payoffs minus the payment difference of $1044 more.
Crazy that the nobody at the dealer could figure this! How does the interest factor into to the payoff or payment calculation?

It's going to add a lot, with that high rate. Almost, $500/mo just for the rent charge.

$1200/mo is in the ballpark, sad to say.

Yes.

The payoff will be the CAP cost, minus the depreciation. There are no finance charges involved in calculating the payoff. (of course, you'll pay the finance portion of the lease payments you incur, during the time you have the vehicle)
