Robideaux Motors in Idaho are currently taking orders at $300 over invoice price. Pam is the lady you need to speak with. My name is Nathan, I couldn't believe the pricing they quoted me. I ordered as soon as I saw the build sheet and they price protect. I know it may be a long way for some and it is for me but it's worth the 5k in savings I'm set to receive. Hell I can ship it in a trailer and still save over 3k lol.

So I ordered a SLT 4WD back in October (no markup for ordered vehicles) and the car arrived at the stealership yesterday. The sales rep calls me to come and take delivery of the car. I asked him to give me the RV and MF over the phone to look at my numbers before I head over there, his answer “I’m busy right now with a customer let’s review here”. I show up and the RV was 0.58 (instead of 0.6) and MF 0.00272 instead of 0.00168…..bottom line he is marking up the car via MF and RV. I did the numbers in Excel and it comes out to about $6k. I walked away. These guys are all low life thieves with a Rolex in their wrist. Thanks for posting the true numbers here, one days things will go back to normal and we can suck on their blood to take cars off the lot.

Awesome…..when you say invoice you mean dealer invoice and not MSRP correct?

Dealers can't adjust the residual.

Standard length….I asked here a few days ago and was told 0.00168 and 60%….too many red flags when he took me to see the car the window sticker wasn’t there and asked him to see and was told “oh now all the cars coming in are missing the window sticker I don’t know why”. Thank God I walked away….I just called Pam and she’s out till Monday but def I’m ordering the car from them and wait another 2-3 months.

I ordered an SLT today from Robideaux and indeed got $3800 off MSRP. Shipping to FL is $1800 so I’d be saving $2k plus the markup on the MF so $6-7k total. Thanks again @armycod13

Rent charge seems crazy high, correct? Dealer claims it's at a mf of 0.00213 (5.11%) but I think it should be in the 3k range.

They've marked up your rate by .00100 (about 2.4% APR)

Even at .00213, the Rent Charge would be around $9800.

Thanks for the quick reply. For my education, what number does the mf get calculated against? I was taking the 39741 @ 5.11% for 36 months, and taking the amount of interest paid over that time to get to around 3200

I’ve leased BMW’s for years, so am not new to the game, but the dealer I’ve been working with tried to tell me that the lowest MF they could offer was .00252 on the deal above, even with top tier credit. Just didn’t smell right and I called them on it, but said “those are the numbers GM gives us.” Sounds like they are inflating the MF after all. Do GM dealers get financial kickbacks when inflating the base MF?

@BB_85 same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago and I walked out. They mark up the MF cause it’s a seller’s market and stealerships can do what they want. I ended up ordering at Robideaux in ID, a bit out of the way for me but 5.x% below MSRP and quoted me the true RV and MF….the savings outweigh the $1800 shipping to FL ($7-8k savings total)

Yes, the dealer profits from the marked up MF.

They are now claiming the residual for a 39/10 is 55%. Strange. I didn’t think the dealer could touch the residual. If they’re correct, I wonder where they are getting their numbers as they’re obviously different than these.

Nevermind, I finally spoke to their manager and helped walk him through things. He agreed to the MF and residual listed above. I guess they rarely do lease deals there and they were entering data wrong into their system. Smells fishy but glad they came around.

55% would have been for 12K.

If the wrong residual had been submitted, the bank would have rejected the contract.
