Negotiating a lease deal on a 2022 XLE FWD in zip 29466.

Dealership is adding on a ton of fees ($506 doc fee; $1,495 dealer incentive; $1,050 manufacturer acquisition fee; $699 Toyota guard platinum) - any of these negotiable or is this just standard right now?

The acquisition fee is imposed by the bank, but it's only $595 from Toyota Financial. This might be a lease through a different bank.

The doc fee is pretty standard.

Is the $1495 a markup from sticker price?

The $699 fee should be negotiable.

The $1,495 markup is from the dealer. We went to 4 dealers in our area and they all had markups ranging from $1k - $4k.

The acquisition fee seems unusually high - we are using Southeastern Toyota which is different from TFS.

Ah, OK. Different rules apply for SETF.

If you've shopped around and this is the best deal you've been given, then I don't have much to add.

Last question - the dealer is also offering an extended warranty for $43/month - covers up to 60k miles and is “bumper to bumper” (not sure what that means - we were not given an overview of what the coverage actually entails).

Worth it? With our current lease, we maybe paid $200 in extra maintenance costs outside the standard Toyota care maintenance.

If you're only allowed 36,000 miles on your lease, why pay for a warranty that covers 24,000 miles you won't even need?
