Is the $7K equity from a lease you are trading in? Or, a car that you own?

If it's a car that you own, then $7K upfront + $529/mo = about $700/mo, overall. Yikes!
If it's a lease you are trading in, then that $7K of equity is a bonus, but it's still not cheap. I assume the selling price is the same as MSRP? Then $1100 in accessories/dealer fees? And, a marked up money factor?

Yes the 7000 is positive equity in my current VW lease trade in. Yes he said the selling price is what MSRP is and noticed all those fees as well. I went back with an offer based of last months MF .00243 with 500 down of 488 month but he wouldnt bite. thanks
