    Hello, regarding MSD's...isn't the base monthly payment (before taxes) rounded up to the nearest $50? or is it the total monthly payment (including sales tax) that's rounded to the next $50? Back in the day I used to round up the base mo/payment...Thank you!

    I think it's the pre-tax payment, but I could be wrong.

    LEASE END BUY OUT advise needed please. I'm contemplating buying my current 330i after my lease ends in a few weeks since current lease rates/incentives are not that great. I have never done this before- I have always just turned the car in and gotten into a new lease.
    Here's some info about my current lease:
    - 2020 330i, MSRP: $47, 500, term 36/10k.
    - Paid zero down, just standard drive-off fees.
    - Purchase Option at End of Lease Term : ~$28, 000 (from my lease contract)
    - The amount I will have paid by the end of the Lease Term= ~$22,000
    Current info on my car:
    - Miles: 14,500, excellent condition. (thanks to covid wfh life)
    - Edmunds, KBB, CarFax, etc. avg value of my car is $33,500 (private) or $29,400 (trade-in)

    Questions:
    1) Is sales tax calculated off of the $28,000?
    2) Other than the $28,000 plus tax, what other fees should I expect BMW to charge me?
    3) Anything else I should be aware of if buying my car at lease end?

    Thank you. Is this purchase fee typically a few hundred dollars? or more? I'm not finding it specified in my contract....do they use a particular term/phrase I should be looking for? or is it simply referred to as "purchase fee"? Thanks again.

    Different banks may call it different things. I know that there is a "disposition fee" if you simply return the car at the end of the lease, and not lease a new one.

    Not sure what BMWFS uses, but generally listed as "Purchase Option Fee". It's set in the contract, and it's usually $250-$395. It's possible there is no fee, just a disposition fee, if you turn the car back in.

    You may be able to do this transaction with BMWFS, and not involve a dealer (who is likely to add fees). Be prepared to have cash or your own financing lined up, though. BMWFS isn't required to finance your buyout, and may not be interested in doing so.

    Call BMWFS, and get the actual buyout quote and process needed. Be sure to get the quote itemized, as they'll likely quote with sales tax included.

    Does anyone have any experience with shipping BMW's you've purchased/leased from one state to another? I currently live in Arizona and I'm looking at new 3 series inventories in California (more options) to lease. One dealership quoted $1000+ to ship a car to me, which is way more than I expected. They did suggest I can find my own transportation for less.... the 3rd party shipping company would pick up my car from the dealership and deliver it to me.

    Does anyone know of any reputable and relatively inexpensive shipping companies that I could contact to ship my car from Cali to AZ?

    My assumption is that the base is definitely less than .0019, based on the fact that I was offered .0017 last week, along with someone else (@wmgdir) on this forum who actually leased a car with a .0017 MF. Now, with this new information, the question is if the base MF is lower than .0017 via some loyalty program that BMW is offering....

    My assumption is that the base is definitely less than .0019, based on the fact that I was offered .0017 last week, along with someone else (@wmgdir) on this forum who actually leased a car with a .0017 MF. Now, with this new information, the question is if the base MF is lower than .0017 via some loyalty program that BMW is offering....

    May I have the residual and MF for 2023 BMW M340i xdrive Sedan? 36 / 12K. Zip is 20147
    Are there any incentives, loyalty, cash backs etc
    How much does each MSD cost? I bought 7 MSDs in 2021. Not sure if they can be switched over to the new lease?
