You were kind enough to provide the details for an X1 lease for 28211 from my post above. You indicated that the residual for a 36 month, 10m/yr., on the 2023 X1 would be 56%. The dealer is telling me 53% residual. Are they able to reduce the residual in a lease or is there any other explanation? I have confirmed the mileage and durations. Thank you!

53% is for 36/15 - it's possible they didn't make the mileage adjustment.

No, the dealer cannot alter the residual values - they are set by the bank.

For sure, always do - thanks. Haven't gotten details from my local dealer yet, so I figured it'd be helpful to have some competing quotes. I hope they all aren't jacking up the MF.

I called around and one dealer generously “reduced” the rate to 0.00215. BMW corporate should stop this practice and not allow for it.
