    I'm walking into a dealership today to assist my Mom as her 2019 Tiguan SE lease (39-month) is nearing expiry date and what to see our options. The lease started in the middle of December 2019, 3 months prior to COVID, which means we have a bunch of equity in the vehicle. The buyout on the contract lists $14,500 and both Carvana and Kelly Blue Book are quoting us ~$20K. I figure our options are buy outright, CPO the vehicle and finance, or use the equity as a down payment into a 2023 lease.

    My question is this (since its been many years since I have been on the site) - is the MF still negotiable these days ? I feel like .003xx is a bit high, but guessing its all due the global supply chain issues in the past few years.

    Once we get back from the dealership I'll post more, just unsure at this point which 2023 Mom will gravitate towards (S, SE, SE R-line, SEL R-line). But if we do go this routes its likely a 39-month lease, 12K miles per year, great credit and zip code is 08723
