    This slightly lower quote (still very high) was allowing for acquisition fee, doc fee, and all taxes to be paid upfront.

    Continue to shop multiple dealers; cross over into NY or PA, as necessary.

    That MF markup is ou    trageous.


    Michaell, I got a quote from a new dealer, still in NJ (same owner ironically, different city)
    He confirmed .0027 MF and 56% residual and quoted me $1275-1305 saying that it's a little higher than the $1173 because they are adding destination charge to the MSRP(huh?), but I argued I'm paying that out of pocket so shouldn't affect the payment anyway. He also stated that because it's a build and not inventory, they are giving "cushion" because the programs can change and they can't "lock in" the MF until car comes in in 6-8 weeks. I'm disagreeing on these points, trying to get the payment down to $1200.

    The destination charge is *always* part of the MSRP. He may have been referring to the acquisition fee (normally $795, almost always marked up to $1095), which can be added to the payment or paid up front (your choice).

    I believe the dealer is right in stating that you can't "lock in" the rates on a car that is ordered, and that you'll have to use the programs in place when the car arrives.

    Keep us posted, and ask them for a screen shot of their internal lease worksheet; that should show all the numbers we need.

    I don't see the selling price or adjusted cap cost on that form.

    Ask them for their internal lease worksheet, not the customer facing version.

    Hi all, looking to purchase a new 2023 GLE 350 4 Matic, msrp $68,890, I will be purchasing out right and zip code is 11743. It will be my second Mercedes in three years, i would like to get as close as I can to invoice. Also, the car is currently being built and won't be ready until mid-end of February 2023.     Could I please get MF and residual for an AMG 53, 12k miles 36 months. Does MB have other terms that are more beneficial than 36 months? I previously leased a GLE 450 for 39 months, but that does not seem to exist anymore. Thank you.

    I was only focusing on the price I’m paying, so I didn’t ask about discount, or adjusted cap cost.

    Forgot to mention, other than MSRP, all other prices are tax included.

    They did show me a piece a paper that shows MF of 0.0030 :#
