Has anyone bought a car from XDNYrepos.com ?

Hi everybody, I came across this website (xdnyrepos.com) and their prices seem awesome (both the starting prices and the winning bid prices I've seen), but I'm also seeing a bunch of red flags.

They claim to do car and boat repossession auctions, and some of the prices are fantastic.....but I've called the phone number on their site a bunch of times and no one ever picks up and they don't have a voicemail. Their website says they also make you wire transfer payment if you win an auction, and then they'll deliver a car after receiving payment (red flag to me) and you can't physically go see the car first (their stated reason is that they don't store the cars at their own facility, they are a middle man with banks and financial institutions who have repossessed a car)

All that being said, I've come across a few forum posts on other forums over the last few years of people claiming they bought something on the site and it went well (though, I suppose those could be fake posts) and I've never actually come across anyone claiming they were scammed.....so I'm tempted.

Does anyone have any personal experience buying from this XDNYrepos.com site?

Doesn't seem like a lot of information on the website. Maybe, it's different if you register, but no history of bids, or when the auction ends, etc..

There are plenty of auction sites with info you can verify, like BaT and carsandbids. Not sure I'd play with this one.

Thanks @kyfdx . I probably should have mentioned this, but the reason I'm so interested in the XDNYrepos one is that they have a large selection of RVs. I appreciate your input and currently plan to avoid it, but am still curious if anyone else reading this has any personal experience (good or bad) with it.

@kyfdx by the way, are those 2 sites you mentioned (BaT and carsandbids) confirmed as legitimate? There is one car on carandbids that's very tempting.

I know folks who have both bought and sold cars on carsandbids - both it and BaT are legit.

All kinds of red flags on that site of yours. Avoid it.
