I was able to find a dealer who had a 45k passport trailsport awd in stock and agreed to 500 over invoice, buy rate and figured in lease loyalty plus applied some equity from prior lease for a first payment plus 2900 equity to start about 450 per month at 36/12.
Even in low supply market decent deals are out there.

We have excellent credit and qualify for the Honda loyalty lease offer ($1000 reduction on cap.). But I'm not sure it's the best option, since they seem to want a significant down payment and limit it to 10,000 miles per year. I think we'd likely use it more than that. ... Would love to know if others have recently got any good deals in the Northern VA area on Passports. ... Also, apart from gap insurance, are all of the other fees they charge for leases similar to a purchase agreement, e.g., processing/doc fees, taxes, registration? Assume they'll also try to get us to purchase other products on top of the required fees? TIA.

You can get whatever mileage allowance you need, and put down as little as you want. The "quotes" on a website are just advertisements.

All Honda Finance leases include GAP insurance at no extra cost.
There is a $595 lease acquisition fee from Honda

All other fees and taxes are the same on lease or purchase. In VA, you pay sales tax on the full selling price of the vehicle, even on a lease.
