Does anyone know current Honda Financial Services rates for lease buyouts? I'm not getting any calls back from dealerships for this information.

This would be for a 2019 Honda CRV, $18K buyout loan, in OH.

If you ask the dealer to make your car a CPO for the warranty, the current rates are:

    4.89% 60 months
    5.89% 72 months

    For top tier credit.

Just be aware.. Honda Finance doesn't have to offer you financing on a straight buyout from them. And, they can charge whatever rate they choose, if they do.

Gotcha, thanks for the caution. Is this because dealers will be adding a bit to it to make some profit?

No, you don't have to go through a dealer to buy the car, you can work directly with Honda Finance, who owns the vehicle.. But, they aren't obligated to loan you money.

Hmmm, when I called HFS today, they told me specifically that I have to go to the dealer. Let me clarify...I know I can go to the bank and just get a loan and not have to go through the dealer. But, if I want to get a loan through HFS, they said I have to go through the dealer.

I'm sort of surprised.. but, you insisting on Honda Finance financing might be why.

It's not a must for me to get HFS financing, just want to know if the rate is much better than what the bank offers. Just comparing rates.

Yeah... we have no idea what they might charge, and if you go through a dealer, it's likely they can find a better rate, elsewhere, as well.
