Thank you. The dealer said that either the lease incentive did not exist in Oregon or that I did not qualify for it (vague). Next time, I will bring up the incentive and directly ask why I do not qualify if that is the case.

As for the interest rate, they admitted to a 3.35% interest rate (for those in categories 0 or 1 in Ford’s ranking system), but that they did not want to mention the best rate until they ran my credit application after the capitalized cost was agreed upon.

Are the lease incentive or interest rate set in stone (clear cutoffs) or are they discretionary? Your point about insisting on 3.35% made me think they might be negotiable/discretionary. I figured I would qualify for category 0 or 1 based on my credit score, but the lack of a lease incentive suggests that Ford is brushing me off for some reason so it might not be worth running the credit application. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

The base APR is not negotiable, and can vary, depending on credit. But, the dealer can still markup the APR for extra profit. It's the markup that's negotiable. Of course, if you didn't come here for the base number, you wouldn't know the baseline.
