Please bear with me on this one. I have a few questions.

1. Am I reading correctly that the MF seems to be substantially lower on the 2023 vs 2024 models?
2. I live in a state where all of the Hyundai dealers are owned by the same company and do not do one-pay leases. I’ve called dealers elsewhere, but most say they cannot do an out of state lease.
3. I would expect the prices on the 2023 stock to be lower than the 24’s. I’ve been told that the dealers “punched” all the 23’s to collect the $7500 rebates already.
4. Could I get MF and RV for 23 Ioniq 6 SEL RWD 24/12? Zip is 89123 - standard and one pay (Would it make a difference if I was able to locate an out of state dealer willing to lease?)

Just asking to be 1000% sure, there is no chance the numbers changed mid month? My local dealer 28075, keeps telling me that for a 2023 SEL AWD the money factor is higher and the RV is 49%. While I know they can play with the MF, I understand the RV is set by hyundai?

I have found some other numbers, but they aren't complete, and naturally, don't have the residuals.
But, the money factors differ substantially from what I've provided previously.

So, it's possible that something has changed, but I can't be certain.

We don't know.. it's possible that the dealers got a final cash payout, so they can sell them as cheaply as possible..

Or, the dealers are using a different bank than Chrysler Capital

I don't doubt it.. we don't have that info.

Did they say anything about price or incentives? Seems like it would have the same incentives as the Ioniq5, if that were the case. ($7500 lease cash + $7500 dealer cash?)

tons of incentives, but with such a low RV and a high MF, it wasn't the lease deal I had hoped for.
if I wanted to buy the car, it might have made more sense, but I don't.
I've been coveting this car for months, I know they have to unload it, and yet I still had to (very politely) walk out.

A dealer gave me this quote yesterday on a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 6 AWD SEL, and it's still breaking my brain. I walked out because we seemed so far apart, but I expect to re-enter negotiations at some point.

With $0 at signing (aside from 1st month, and maybe some fees), the quote is:
$678/mo. for
36 months and 12k mi/yr.

Because it's a 2023 that is stuck on their lot (they said the words "final pay" and "already punched out"), they gave me discounts totaling $16,800 that bring the selling price down to $36,095 -- AWESOME!
But then they tell me the Residual Value can only be 44%, or $23,273.
That's a kick in the teeth, let's carry on. I think I would be paying a total depreciation cost of $12,822 (~356/mo.), which still sounds like music to my ears.
BUT, if they take $678/mo. from me, WHERE oh WHERE is the other $11,586 ($322/mo.) going?!?
Here's the best I can figure:
1. Interest. They say the only MF available for this vehicle is .00272 (6.53%APR). Please help me calculate the total interest over 3 yrs.
2. Dealer Fee listed on the quote: $1,199.
3. Taxes. The Florida sales tax is 7%. Again, I'm not sure how to calculate the 3-yr total here.

^5. HMF Disposition Fee: $650.
^6. HMF Acquisition Fee: $400.

^ Neither of these are listed on the printed quote and both would seem waive-able by the dealer because "final pay" and "punched out."

Regardless, when I put these numbers into the LH Calculator, the highest monthly payment I see is $639, NOT $678.

Any math, insight, or advice on how to negotiate from here is greatly appreciated.

1) Monthly finance charge = (adjusted CAP + residual) X money factor
Total finance charge = Monthly finance charge X Term (in months)

3) The monthly payment is taxed. Any rebates of upfront CAP cost reductions are taxed, upfront

5/6) You've transposed those numbers. They are opposite. In any case, the disposition fee is charged at lease end, and isn't part of the lease payment calculations.

What is the MSRP?
You have the selling price, but what is the adjusted CAP cost, and what is the actual amount Due at Signing?

With the information you have, only being $39/mo. off isn't too bad, but we need all of the numbers.

$678/mo = $633+tax
.00272 MF and 44% residual

With the numbers you provided, the adjusted CAP cost would have to be around $39,900, to result in that payment.

$36,095 selling price
$650 acq. fee
$1199 dealer fee
$764 govt fee
$525 upfront sales tax ($7500 rebate)

That would still leave $667 unaccounted for.
But, you can see how we are getting closer to the payment.

Notes
Out of the $16,800 in discounts, $7500 is a rebate from Hyundai, which triggers the upfront sales tax.
I think Hyundai also made a $7500 final pay amount to the dealer, which means the dealer is only giving you an actual discount of $1800. On top of that, they are clawing back $1200 of it with an outrageous dealer fee..

And, we still have $667 unaccounted for, to get to that payment. You might be shocked if you see everything spelled out. (all this is assuming only the first payment is DAS)

So, this isn't really a great deal.

Hello, is it still true there are no MF and RV figures available for 2023 models this month? Was going to ask for MF and RV on a 2023 Limited AWD 24/12 in 33178 since I found one still at a dealership, but if that's the case then I won't get my hopes up.

MSRP: 52750
Less: 7500 (rebate) + 9500 (dealer discount)
Adjusted CAP cost (?): 35750
Residual value: $23737.50

For 36/10, prices as below (down/ monthly):

1500/ 546
2500/ 514.96
3000/ 499.24

They didn't give me any of the taxes or fees (i need to go in to the dealership to get them!).

Not sure if this is a decent deal.. Pls advise!

Seems reasonable; read back through the last page or so of posts to compare to what other quotes members are getting.

@A8rain The dealer is getting their own $7500 from Hyundai, so your $9500 discount is only an extra $2000 from the dealer. I'd work on getting a bigger discount
