    Went and test drove the SX X-Line today and loved it. Price listed online was $2500 under MSRP and they took another $700 off for lease cash so that all worked out. Is the $1,395 freight charge something that cannot be negotiated? Dealer said that is added back in when they sell the car under MSRP. Once you add the freight and the DOC fee back in you're really just getting the car for MSRP again. Oh, and after leasing in NJ for many years I learned in Virginia they tax you for the whole amount of the car rather than on the monthly payments.

    If the freight charge is on the factory window sticker, there isn't anything you can do about it.

    VA is not a place I would lease a vehicle.

    Probably not the place to discuss deals but helpful. The doc fee seems inflated a bit. Usually it is 899 or less. This can be negotiated but its tough. The freight fee is normal. Id use this discount and go shop it around and let them know you want a better deal and will come back.

    If the MSRP is the bottom line, and includes freight, then that really sucks. But, from what we’ve seen, a $700 discount plus a $700 rebate isn’t bad for a Telluride. They are extremely popular.

    Is the MF that is provided to people on this forum what the dealer should be using or a target to get them to use? The dealers RV matches the 68% I was provided but they were using a MF of .00321 compared to the .00262. I know that's where they can make additional money on the deal.

    It's the base MF from Kia Finance, for top tier credit. Dealers can markup the money factor for extra profit. Kia Finance will charge a higher rate for lower tiers
