    After weeks of trying to lease a car finally done! Dealers consistency trying to goose the numbers. Think I did ok. Tucson hybrid limited MSRP $41774 less $2700 in rebates/discounts plus lots of fees, no down payment, paid 1st month payment, netted monthly payment of $576. Reduced it further with equity in my leased car trade (never did that before) so now at $464.

    I'm curious... What did you turn in and what amount of trade-in equity did they give you? A $112 payment reduction sounds $3000-$4000 "trade-in".
    My daughter just returned her leased 2022 Tucson SEL w/ Convenience,front wheel drive, gas. $18700 buyout and they have her no TIE.

    I traded in a 2021 Subaru Outback Touring model. Credit was over $3200. Free money as far as I’m concerned. I’ve leased cars for over 30 years. Always just turned them in before. But I figured it was worth more than the residual value, and it was.

    I should have also noted before, that the manufacturer adds “accessories” to the car, boosting the MSRP. In my case, roof cross rails (had them take it off, but still had to pay), wheel locks (who needs that?) and carpet mats (ok). No choice on these. Some cars have even more stuff.

    Ha, my daughter's new Tucson had both carpeted and all weather mats added to her car from the factory (both on the window sticker). Who does that?
    Wheel Locks??? They (thieves) don't want your wheels. They want your catalytic converter! (at least around here - NY/NJ/CT area.) Maybe they should start etching those.
