Zip is 75075, in Texas. I was reviewing my lease paperwork from current lease (2021 Elantra Limited) and I didn’t have a trade or anything, and the sales/use tax was only about 1.2% of the Agreed-Upon price, nowhere close to 6.25. In my google research, I found that one possible explanation could be tax credits applied by the lender (which in my case is HMF). Unless I am wrong about how tax is calculated on a lease in TX.

Texas sales tax credits are a thing. Lenders provide them intermittently, throughout the year. I don't know how you can know, unless you ask individual dealers, though.

Funny story. If this is the wrong place, feel free to delete. Went to dealer with this info, they basically called me a liar. Told me the MF was .00268 (more than double what I got on here). Even went as far to print a sheet off showing me MFs (didn’t have any identifying info on it about what car it was for though).

Could have been for a lower credit tier; dealers will often quote that before pulling your credit.

Hyundai has some weird lease program called Hyundai Circle Lease.
It's for 24 months only, and the money factors are high.

Lease for terms 24 months ONLY. Circle E and Z customer only

I have no idea what that's about, but the money factors are crappy.
