If my lease is ending on June 27, 2024. Do you have any recommendations for leasing a new car and getting a good deal? I had a good deal during covid but interest rates are so high that I am unsure what a good deal looks like now to get into a new qx60.

Expect to pay a lot more for this lease than the last one. Negotiate your best price, watch out for junk fees and MF markups, and you'll be fine.

CA dealers charge an $85 doc fee
IFS has a lease acquisition fee
CA DMV levies a few fees that might total $600, or so.

Anything else is just something to say no to..

Currently in talks with a dealer for QX60 Sensory AWD w/ Vision demo, MSRP $65,350. The salesperson said that Nissans/Infiniti's fiscal year ends March 31 so there i would hope there is desire to deal. But would like to know couple items:

1) He offered a 36/5k option/promotion. 5k miles per year with ability to prepurchsae miles cheaply ($0.10/mi) anytime before lease expires. Is this correct and if so what is the RV/MF for 60523?

2) The Demo has 900 miles on it. What data points or recomendations can you give for targeted % off before incentives.

Their offer:
MSRP $65,350
Discount $4,770
Incentives/Rebates: $2k (nissan loyatly + conquest)

36/5: $788/mo (first month + $710 Doc/Plates/reg Due at signing)
36/10: $823/mo (same as above)

We don't track pricing, but you'd certainly want a bigger discount on the unit with 900 miles on it compared to a unit with 9 miles on it, to account for the adjustment to the residual.

Using the MSRP and sale price from the document, I get $756/mo, before tax.

A couple of thoughts/questions:
1. I don't see the acquisition fee anywhere. I'd ask about it.
2. I'm not 100% certain you can buy miles when you start with 5K/year. In general, you can buy miles up front only when you've taken the highest mile option available from the bank (15K).
