I spoke with the dealer for a EV6 GT 24/12k
The RV was 56 and MF .00092.
Only problem is the dealer is only giving me 2,100 off MSRP. I showed them another dealer that has $3858 off MSRP. Told them if they can beat it but they didn't bother. This same dealer during September has a GT markerd $5,357 off MSRP. They don't want to acknowledge that deal either. They are saying they had different incentives back then and could mark the car down that much due to them meeting sales in September. But also the 3rd week of September that dealer changed the dealer discount from $5357 to $1657. And ever since it's only been at $2129.

I found the spec I really like but the dealer isn't giving me a good deal. Pleanty of GT are just sitting at dealer lots.

How can I negotiate with dealers to get the car at least 5k off MSRP?

It's possible that, as the inventory dwindles, dealers are holding out hope for someone to pay more for the specific trim/color/options they want, and not pay for the price increase of a 2025 model.

Can't compare todays market to that of a month ago - different lease programs, different incentives. Also, September was the end of Q3 and many dealers were trying to hit volume targets for extra bonuses.

If you're shopping around, that's the best advice we can give you to get the best deal.

At that time my credit was 680 and the dealer wasn't giving me .00092 so the monthly was higher. To qualify for the $430 I needed tier 1 credit. Now I have that but the dealer isn't giving me the same dealer discount like in September.

I was really hoping those discounts would still be around but didn't know about the Q3 like you mentioned before. Maybe November or December if I get lucky I'll get the dealer discount 5k and 15k form kia incentive. Just gotta wait now

I just spoke with the dealership that's by me and now they're playing these games they will give me the dealer discount of $5,357 off the MSRP instead of that 4,000 but they are going to give me a money factor of .00134. The manager is like I can change the money factor if I like but I kept telling her the current money factor is .00092 and she's saying she doesn't want to lose money so honestly I just walked out it's not worth it just going to wait it out.

For those that have been monitoring the rates on these EVs, this is basically what I have calculated over the last couple of months from my interested models and some options (should not change monthly prices much) assuming some basic registration/doc fees and minimum upfront and Long Island taxes, YMMV, so take the #s with a grain of salt, but should be directionally accurate.

Wind AWD 24/10k - $588, $570, 36/10k - $556, $536
GTL AWD 24/10k -$643, $623, 36/10k - $619, $598

My lease is coming due end of November, so I am deciding on a few options. Despite the lower residual from September -> December (logical) and MF / incentive changes, it looks like the leases have gotten slightly cheaper across the board.

This makes sense as there are many economic reports that auto dealers are lowering their car sales estimates due to consumer's uncertainties about the economy (hence holding back on larger ticket purchases). Ford also announced that they will stop producing EV F150s due to "limited demands".

So for those of us that are in the market, it could be a good time to get a decent deal.
