They may give you the first offer, but you should have a price in mind, and negotiate to it.

Once you agree on that, figuring out the lease payment is just 4th grade math.

Yes, you want the selling price and the adjusted CAP cost. It’s no different than buying a car. In the end, all of that will be on the lease contract, so be wary of any dealer that doesn’t want to give you the numbers.

I see.
My understanding was that if dealer works at MSRP number, it is already good, because when i bought in 2022 everything was going 10-15% over that.

No.. you want to negotiate a discount. And, ensure they aren't marking up the money factor.

Given the .00318 MF, I'd go as short as possible, and then buy it out.

In the end, it doesn't matter that much, if you are ultimately purchasing it.

Not yet, just found out in research that it's typically very good deal. Trying to get there.

So far only $2,500 off of MSRP and no other incentives, not even loyalty as it'll be my 4th AUDI in a row.

The only thing that matter is the lowest price you can get. The invoice price is irrelevant.

Regarding lowest price: if i understand correctly, that consists of invoice price + any markups dealer put on, then plus fees, correct? They can markup cap cost too, seems like it.

You'll never ascertain an acceptable price because you know the invoice. The price is market driven. It isn't an efficient market like stocks, because you don't know what everyone else is paying. Get quotes from multiple dealers. Negotiate the CAP cost. Pay attention to the final result, because what matters is how much money is coming out of your pocket.

36 month residual is 55% (and, a lot lower payment)

I don't see any other incentives.

I don't have the loyalty information, or any info about the 1st payment program.

Markups are common. They are negotiable, just like the price.

Same money factor for the 36 month term.

7% drop in residual for 12 more months of use is more cost-efficient in most cases. Stick the numbers in the formula, and you'll see
