Thank you. Any chance you know if the MF goes down mid year? The apr of 6.84% seems really high compared to 2021 for the same lease deal where it was around 2.x% around June. Does it go down as we go towards the end of the year? Do dealers go below the standard?

I've decided to buy out my 2022 E450 coupe off lease and I'm curious about what others have experienced with ownership of these vehicles. Are there any major caveats to owning these cars or buying out a leased vehicle? Any words of advice?
I bought out my 2019 E450 wagon lease in 2022. I suspect the process is similar - that was at the height of covid price inflation, and there was no negotiation on residual - take it or leave it. As prices inflated since 2019, the residual was far less than market value, and it was an easy decision. I suspect with prices still being inflated a little, that residual and market value might be close, so if you love the car, maybe a good deal.
In comparison, my 3 prior (before inflation) leases all had inflated residuals that were a bit higher than market value and I believe discounts were possible to buy it out.
i believe some of the early mild hybrid cars might have had some hiccups, but maybe solved by the 2022 model year. My car does not have the 48V system, but it is the same engine. That engine family is known to be robust, and my car has not had any issues in 5+ years of ownership.
