2024 Tesla Model Y Lease Deals
It's unfortunate that Tesla doesn't provide details of their lease deals. I am getting my third Tesla, second Model Y, and have decided to lease this one.
The key stats for my deal were:
Car price 50980
15K/36
RV 55.6%
MF 0.00266
ZIP: 44236
Tesla does require a minimum downpayment of $2,999, which was due at signing along with the first payment, the $695 acquisition fee, and $19 in doc fees.
I took advantage of applying the federal tax credit to the deal (–$7.5K), as well as a promotion this month for "free" paint and other upgrades (–$2.5K).
I think it's a pretty good deal, especially with EV prices trending down. Tesla famously disallows buyouts at lease end, but that's not so bad. I financed my 2021 MY, but had I leased it with the same RV as this deal, the buyout would have been $5K more than what Tesla has offered for trade-in.
So my experience with the Tesla lease has been good. YMMV.

Do you have info for 2025?
I know Tesla set their price you can't really negotiate but I'm curious about the money factor and residual to see lease vs purchase which one better. Also does $7500 already factor in to lease automatically?
