I am hoping to understand if the below deal from a dealer is reasonable or if there is much more room to negotiate? There are two vehicles I'm looking at.

(1) MSRP: $73,720
Trade-in: $16,000 which is all going towards the near car
36 months
12k miles
Lease: $978.01.month

This feels high given a $16K trade-in but I am having a hard time evaluating this.

The Adjusted CAP cost, is after all additions and CAP cost reductions (the $16K trade-in), so the $71,995 can't be right.

That might be the selling price?

Ask the dealer for the adjusted CAP cost, and the exact amount Due at Signing. (Are they asking for any cash, on top of the trade-in equity?)

With $16K upfront, that lease payment is ridiculously high.
