With those prices, I get $1271/mo plus tax

MF is marked up a bit for extra dealer profit.

Ask them for the adjusted cap cost (selling price plus taxes and fees you are not paying up front), and how they arrived at that number.

I disagree with the tax amount - that looks like a purchase price tax amount. OH taxes the sum of the payments, and you can either pay it up front or add it to the cap cost.

What is the breakdown of the $1472 of "upfront costs"? Could be some junk added in there.

Have you shopped around to see if you can do better? That's a steep payment, but it's a brand new model year.

That was my first offer. Have two other dealers still to try. Just needed to know if this was a decent starting point.
It is steep! May end up buying a ‘24 with 10k miles at a nice discount instead.

I don't think it makes a difference, but I don't see the 430i xDrive in our data - just the RWD trim.
