I am in 10128. Pardon my ignorance but does location actually affect buy rates/residuals? I thought those were set in stone by PFS? Can one lease these cars away from PFS? Thank you vm.

While the Porsche lease programs are national, we like to know your location so we can add any state specific knowledge we may have should you have follow up questions. For example, we know that in NY you cannot use multiple security deposits to "buy down" the MF.

Got it. Thank you for the clarification. In teh past when purchasing a BMW, the dealer allowed me to do the MSD but it was a NJ dealer. Not sure if that meant anything. This Porsche dealer is in NJ as well, I guess I should have clarified to you if you were asking for my zip or the dealers zip, the dealer is in 07631. I did not ask about MSDs, maybe I should.
They did offer a balloon payment though at a reduced buy rate 0.003 vs 0.00375.

NJ allows MSDs.

Can't help you with the pros and cons of the Porsche balloon program.

So does Porsche financial allow MSDs? And if that is the case, would you happen to know how many are allowd and what each woudl bring the buy rate down buy? I remember when I did this on a BMW many years ago, I believe I maxed it out at 7 MSDs which each reduced my buy rat by 0.0007.

Not sure about Porsche, but VW/Audi allow up to 9 SDs, each of which lower the MF by .00005.

Confirm with your dealer, however.

@smitf7 We've never heard of anyone using MSDs with Porsche. That makes me think they don't offer them.
