Just starting to correspond with the dealer and was offered .00220 MF and 2.5% off MSRP (they are telling me it is 5% markup). Also $2000 loyalty lease rebate. I will ask for the better MF. Is 2.5% a fair discount in your opinion? MSRP of my online build is $55800.

I am confused. I see the MF quoted as .00205 and 57% residual for 7.5k/yr North Carolina. My wife is >800 score and was offered 0.00300 or so I challenged and said that is way over especially as I see APR rates at 4.49% for finance not lease for these cars. In the end, I got it down to 0.00225 in which they said they would go no lower. I challenged them that the finance rates had dropped to 4.49% and he said that was for finance not leases so did not apply. The monthly figure was in the range I was expecting as such so went with the deal, but I am going to pick my car up in a next few weeks and it is considerable higher price so am worried this finance person is going to take me for all my worth. Sorry for the long-winded question, If I accept a 0.0025 MF for a score over >760 is that a good deal.

Have you shopped multiple dealers? That's the best way we know to ensure you're getting the best deal.

If you have top tier credit, you should be getting the base MF.

With the marked up MF you provided, I get $817/mo plus tax

Using the base MF of .00205, $784/mo plus tax.

I suspect the adjusted cap number isn't right - its the selling price plus any taxes or fees you aren't paying up front.

Yea you’re probably right…It was over the phone and I assumed this was the adjusted cap number because the salesman gave me the monthly payment with the tax included which is unusual from the get go. I’ve leased vehicles before and it’s typically added to the monthly payment after the deal is done. It might be the selling price as you said so I have to get a detailed breakdown on paper tomorrow morning to make sure. Thanks for your help.
