    What is the 4xe trim?

    Has anyone heard of a “loss leader” program from Jeep. Dealer telling me they can’t do the same deal on one I want as one they have advertised because that one is in a “loss leader” program. Larger discount (about 3.5% more) and acquisition fee ($995) waived.

    My gut saying he just doesn’t want to deal because e has one I actually want but maybe I’m wrong.

    This reminds me of the “one only at this price”ads that I would see in the LA Times 30 years ago. We actually got our ‘92 Accord through one of those sales because the “one only” was the right color.

    Yeah seems like it. But making about $3500 difference and I’m not biting. Last day of month for us to get it too. So pressure on them. Also don’t like the way he’s trying to sell it as a jeep program. I said if you’re not wanting to do it because color etc that’s fine just say so. I don’t like being purposely mislead!

    Well.. who knows what sort of "aged inventory" rebate they have on an individual unit. But, the last day is Monday, so keep pressing and see what happens.

    There are like 15-20 different trims, so you'll have to help me by being specific. Do some research, find what you like, and refine your request.

    (BTW, a high residual makes for a lower lease payment, all things being equal; why not finance the car initially now and not have to rely on what interest rates will be for used cars in 2,3,4 years?)
