Loaner residual calculation

Does anyone know how Porsche calculates the residual on a retired loaner? Let’s say the base residual is 59% for the model and the loaner has 6000 miles, what would be the residual?

I have received a proposal and can’t match the proposed monthly payment with my calculations. I verified no markup on MF, and I am paying taxes and fees up front. It should be a straight forward calculation but I can’t get to the dealer number. Not even when I calculate residual based on sale price (which is deeply discounted over MSRP).

    It's based on the existing mileage, but we don't know the formula Porsche uses.

    The dealer cannot alter the residual, however, so you can trust that number.

    Yes, I agree that the residual is the residual but that leaves no parameter to change to get to the number that they come up with.

    Payment = ( Sale price - Residual ) / Term + MF (Sale price + Residual )

    There’s hundreds of dollars difference with the quote and my calculations.

    Really weird.

    Maybe, the money factor is marked up?
    Or, the residual isn't what has been communicated.

    The two information that they have given me doesn't match with the quote so one of them is not accurate. They told me what the residual is (in percentage) and I asked them what the MF was, and they gave me the base MF that I see here. Anyway, at least I know that I am not missing anything.

    Yes thank you. I was confirming, not coming up with something new.
