I probably need a roll bar for the Miata. I think I'd do autocross first, though.

Juice, you should come with Mikismi and me, it'll be a blast! Take the miata!

52/100 for me, I'm pretty happy with that!
Good to go.

Okay. As fantastic as it will be to have a really great road course nearby, I have reservations about this place being ready in time for the May event Mikesmi discussed. Contingency plans?

What: big ol' Sooby meet.
When: Sunday May 6, 2001. Time TBA, although it really depends on how long you wanna bike.

There are several different locations, and they're all some distance from one another. I vote for the McKeldin area. It's pretty large and only about 5 miles from where I live.
Bob
Let's get this going!

PENNSYLVANIA COVERED BRIDGE TOUR
Spring Tour of 10 Covered Bridges hosted by the Subaru Club of America and the Central Penn SAAB Club will be on 29 April 01. Assembly point is the Holiday Inn in Denver PA at 10AM. The Holiday Inn has a pretty nice Breakfast Buffet for $6.25 a person for those who arrive early with the hungries. If your thinking of attending, please drop us an email at scoa@subaruclub.com so we have an idea of how many cars we will have. Tour ends at the Perkins Rest on Rt. 30 just outside of Lancaster. Event is free and open to all Subaru owners.
Detail Map of the starting point and the Holiday Inn in Denver, PA can be seen on OUR EVENTS PAGE.

Still working on SIA Tour, what do folks have in mind for a date ????????

Sigh. Bottom line is that I won't be at the Covered Bridge Tour.

What kind of pathetic excuse is that for canceling out? Get sick, break a leg, fix the car, or emergency at work! There are any number of excuses your "better half" could use to explain your absence. Hey, if I didn't live 600 miles away I'd be there! (Wife in tow or not!)

Once (hopefully!),

When and where do you want to meet next sunday for the Covered Bridge Tour? It's only 125miles from SI, so I'd say we need to leave about 2.5hrs-3hrs travel time. E-mail me directly if you want mike@iace.com Also anyone else going from NJ may want to hook-up with Bat and I at a rest stop on the NJTP.

I sent you an email to work out location. I seem to recall you folks talking about staying in touch via FRS radio. I am trying to borrow one from a co-worker. I am looking forward to Sunday.
Mark
No freebies from Darlene this time, but it looks like a couple of people will have a few things to hand out.
Gotta remember the FRS radio.

The home comment refers to my "real" home. We had fire in July, 2K and it is taking this long to get rebuilt. But...we're almost there. However, I need to hang close to home because when it's ready, so are we.
I'll keep an eye on the 6th!

My wife and boys (especially the older one) still want to go on the tour (oh, and see steam engines) so we'll head up there sometime in May or June (after baseball season).
Frank, I'm going to make you team captain the next time I need to promote an event, heh, heh.
