I didn't do anything to the GT that day. I went once more on 15" steelies and Michelin L-81 medium compound gravel tires plus home made stone guards. THAT was the best day ever. But it is just too hard on the car. Maybe in TX or CA where rallycross is just an autocross in a field it would be fine, but here the course is a ProRally special stage in VA. I almost hit a tree. Just nipped it, sideways, full opposite lock. Plus that was 2 years ago and I am STILL finding red clay dust in spots. It got everywhere. TOns of fun, but not unless I have a beater I can take down there.
Dave -- My Forester's fenders were already pinched one winter when I was driving up in Yosemite and spun out into a snowbank. That was a $1300 mistake I don't care to repeat.
This is what we get when we ask for a smile... Now, the drugs going into that fancy IV need to work! We'll know in a few weeks. Thanks again everyone for the kind thoughts.
Cute kid, we too hope the drugs work, no matter how old your kids are they are always a concern, even when married and living away from home you are always a Mom or a Dad.
mike - if you get that Legacy, we'll arrange a swap for WRX rims if you want the original (soon to be immortalized in the NY Times) alloys. I'll pay the difference in value or donate some parts to Franken L, whatever. OK? :-)
How to get it up here from Texas, though. I mean, that drive would take you at least 3 hours! LOL
Juice, Thanks, if you want WRX rims, I have 9 of em (Some even with tires) Jim and I are discussing off-line, looks like sometime after new years my buddy with an STi will drive me down to TX to get it. It'll be a rough ride down in the STi but I'll have to suffer! On the way back hopefully the legacy will keep up with the STi.
mike - Not a lot of free time these days, but I really would like to meet up at a car show like the crew has done in the past.
Steve - You better warn them first... Shane is a big smoocher (both other kids and dogs!).
I've learned so much on a huge variety of topics over the year or so with this board. My workplace has clamped down on permitting many types of sites. Luckily for me edmunds has slipped through the cracks.
Greg: Ding! Ding! Ding! Yes, it's the Fish Market in Santa Clara on El Camino near Lawrence. Good eye -- was it the dessert menu by Steve's hand that gave it away?
juice: Oh yeah, from L to R, that would be: Ken, Kate, Jim, Steve.
either on your own website or someone else's. There are a couple free places out there to do such things, but I've lost track of what they are exactly. I can host pictures on a temporary basis for anyone that would like me to do so, but, if you use another place, the instructions, which consist of some very simple code, are on the top of page 1 in this thread.

So would you like one Miata or five '90 Legacys at your disposal?
Ken
She's got my hair cut, except more hair! ;-)
If the top goes down, all bets are off. You can't compare the experience. That's why I want a B11S roadster, please.

Clearly, he inspected the springs and shock mounts on both sides, then proceeded to inspect the brakes and re-torque your lugs.
In the 4th picture, the intricacies of drop-throttle oversteer are clearly explained and demonstrated with hand signals.
Folks, welcome our Future Subaru Crew President!

Seems Patti & I could both benefit from the advice of someone more digitally literate than we... how do I get an image from the camera to the Gallery?
Inquiring minds want to know...
Cheers!
