Does this price include sales tax? In which state and what is the dealer contact? Appreceiate your reply.
sounds like a decent price.
Just pulled the plug on a Nimbus Gray Ex-L with R&N yesterday for a OTD of $33,500. This price includes accessories all season mats, cargo net and wheel locks. Dealership is Planet Honda on Rt 22W in NJ and I must say it was very pleasant experience.
If anyone wants to know more details, let me know, I can e-mail them.
Got the 4.9% 60 mo finance too.
Car costs 33K, smiles and excitement on my kids' faces....priceless. I am a happy camper. :shades:
Internet Price (before TTL & includes $750 incentive) = $35288
Edmunds lists Dealer Invoice as $35388 - is this amount accurate?
Thoughts on price? Anyone been offered lower? Any dealership recommendations as I'm willing to drive further? Should I wait until Memorial Day or even July 4th weekend for even better deals? (I'm aware that the 2008's are coming soon, so the longer I wait the less color choices)...
Other notes for this purchase: no trades and will be paying in cash so no financing needed.
Thanks for any feedback!
Charles
Edit: Are "Tire Fee" ($8.75) and "Documentation Fee" ($55) real/standard fees or just the stealer's load-of-crap fees? BTW, this dealer tells me over the phone that the dealer invoice is $36,336.45, thus my true invoice question above, as that's $948 above Edmund's dealer invoice!
The difference is huge. If you don't mind to drive or fly down then give PENSKY a shot. I got these quote through Edmunds. To see PENSKY Honda dealer on Ontario enter zip code 91763.
The lady contact me right away through phone with lowest offer. And accoding to her I may get few hundreds less if I haggle. I personally visit PENSKY delaer 2 weeks ago when visiting my friend live close by. They are the largest Honda dealer in California. Pensky also own Longo Toyota. Hope this help. I think I might get it from them. Please let me know if you could get a good deal from local.

Thanks for the lead....that's a great price and so far the lowest that I've seen. No, I don't mind going down to LA as I have family down there. If you don't mind, can you please email me your salesperson's name and contact information. I would like to use your purchase as a reference.
email: imcharlesl @ comcast.net (take out the spaces)
Thanks,
Charles
P.S. What color is your Touring? I like Nimbus Grey but not decided yet until I go see the other colors in person.
Thanks for that information. I will get a quote from them too for the Touring and compare it with Hardin Honda in Anaheim (see above post). Can you also email me your salesperson contact at Pensky? Email address in above post.
Thanks,
Charles

McGrath was 67?? W Grand Ave.
Here's to a great deal x 3!!
Jalimey- if the hubby's going to pull the trigger tomorrow that's cool. Here's my 2 cents...for what it's worth. The price you've been quoted is the best posted in months. the dealer has a good idea of what's what out there, so don't walk in thinking your going to "negotiate better". The point of email negotiation is so that your in control. Once you walk into the lion's den, odds are good your going to come up short. If your really going to buy the car tomorrow, figure out of there's any other accessories that you want. (all season floormats, wheel locks, splash guards are the common ones). Have the hubby call one of the 2 to "qualify" their email offer. "This is for a 2007 NEW (not a demo) EXL, in "color"...whatever you want, and the price of $26,500 (or whatever it was) INCLUDES destination correct? (let them answer...answer should be YES). Ok, so the only addtional charges are tax, title and License Transfer (transfer around $55, tax is standard..whatever county your in) correct? (let them answer...and the answer should be yes). Assuming you get yes on both of these, then say that you want the 2.9 Honda APR for 36mos or 4.9 APR financing for 60 months because your credit is good. Assuming I qaulify, this is not a problem correct? (answer should be yes). Assuming you get YES's to all these (and you MUST or don't go there) tell them that you have the same offer from (wherever it is that you have the offer) and that you will come in tonight to buy the car if they can beat it. Alternatively, throw in season mats, splash guards and we're done, I'll come in now and do the deal. (this is really your last negotiation....should really do this to both dealers to see who comes up best). Whomever gives the best final, honor their willingness to negotiate over email/phone and then go in and make it happen...just making sure that all the prenegotiated terms are met. I'd actually ask/qualify the above in email, so that you have their answers in writing. Some prefer to call at this point, because it lets them know your serious, you exist and are ready to make it happen. Your option... Make sure to get the APR and I woudn't even throw a trade in on top of it unless you absolutely have too. You'll end up losing value in the good deal by inevitably getting a little less for your trade than its worth. Good luck, let us know how goes and who you got it from. If you choose to wait and see about end of the month incentives, let me know that too. Remember Honda has 2.9 for 36 months and 4.9 for 60 months. if your credit is good, don't settle for anything less. Also, my humble opinion, don't buy the extended warranty or any additional garbage. Just get in and out with the deal you noted and you'll be in great shape.
To the others in chicago area;...if your waiting until memorial day, let me know the model (ex/ exl/exl Res, etc. you plan to purchase and your choice of color) we can potentially try to parlait a number of great deals in a few weeks. current rates are good through May, just a matter of risking whether color, model, etc is available. There are a number of dealers with tons of inventory so shouldnt be an issue.
$27,059.17 +ttl was the final as they hadn't incl. destination and splashguards and wheel locks in the price originally quoted.
Hubby said that the dealership Ohare was great, and he had a good experience, if a very long day.
Let me know if more details needed,
Jalimey
Just curious, how much did they charge you for title and license?
The dealer here did in fact pass on the $750 to us as well as an additional $200 off the original Internet quote and $227 off the cost of the wheel locks and splashguards.
Fees including title and license (new plates) came to $241.
I'm in Virginia, outside the beltway (yes we all have our crosses to bear). I have offered all the local dealers (5 of them) the following.
$27,500 - EX-L, slate green, dark grey leather, X-bar, 3rd row shade, cargo tray, freight, processing, misc add-ons.
$880 - Tax
$45 - Tags (1 year)
$1,175 - 8yr 120k $0 deductible, Honda not third party extended warranty.
$29,600 out the door with 36 month 2.9% financing.
Nobody will call me back and so I must be missing a piece of the puzzle! Thanks for any suggestions.

I want to understand that whether they can give more price cut if you finance with them or if you bring your own financing ? Normally it makes sense to offer u better deal if they are financing, but I might be wrong.
It seems windy city giving a best deals I have seen on this list.
Thanks
deal right now?
Can I put the carseat on the middle plusone seat?
