nonetheless, i think yours was a good deal too.
Thanks for the info. Do your numbers include TTL? Good luck with your new van!

Also - I am assuming that this deal took place while the $750 dealer incentive was in place.
Also, these OTD quotes are w/ sales tax = 5%.
I live in Maryland, but bought in Virginia.
'purchased a 2007 EX-L with DVD RES(no NAV) from Friendly Honda @Poughkeepsie.
Total Price : 30,500 + TTL/Taxes
Base Price : $29,449 (including destination)
Options : $1091 [All Season Package : $383 (all weather mats for 3 rows + cargo tray + Front & Rear Splash Guards )
Fog Lights (420 - including installation), Automatic Day/Nigh mirror ($288)]
This was the lowest quote I had received from the Tri-state area after the $750 incentive was taken off in July.
'had a pleasant experience with the dealership and the sales person (Mr.Frank Buccione)...no hassles..no hidden costs like Admin or documentation fees..no lengthy discussions about Extended Warranty.
BTW, while trying to extend insurance coverage from Geico for this new vehicle, I found that Geico has a unique feature "Mechanical Coverage"..which covers cost for repair/replacement of any mechanical failure...which is like an Extended Warranty. Hence decided not to take Extended Warranty.
Just one more info - If you are looking to add the fog lights on the Odyssey..its not very useful, does not help much. not sure if it is because of the place it is fitted or the quality.
I have fog lights in my 99' accord and that rocks..very useful during heavy rains, fog & snow time
Are you the 34th element? Anyway, I am in Omaha, Nebraska and am having the same trouble. Where are you located? Thanks.
Marsha
Sounds as though someone is protesting too much and we can consider this as confirming the veracity of the post in question.
On the other hand a Honda Dealer quoted $33,950 for an '07 Touring RES but not the exact color combo I am looking for. I don't know what incentives I can get yet.
Is it worth $6,000 more for a new one with full warranty and only 22 miles on it?
Thanks.
That said, at the end of the day the price spread is likely to still be on the order of 6K. Bear in mind that the '05 also has a back-up camera in addition to the navigation system.
While my two cents is that the '07 is worth the extra money, if you can buy the '05 for 26K or less you wouldn't be going wrong. At that price, it's a lot of car for the money.
Invoice price 32187 - 300 = 31887 (including Destination)
Is this good price ?
Any thoughts. Please post today...

Our price in DC w/sales tax (5%): $32,077
w/out sales tax: $30,550
*this was on July 2nd when they had the $750 cash back to dealer incentive running.
I have been shopping for '07 Ody EXL-RES in Honolulu, HI, can anyone advise me what would be the good OTD price on this? I really appreciate.
I am shopping for '07 Honda Odyssey: EX-L With DVD and NAV in the San Francisco Bay Area. What would be a good OTD price for this package? Appreciate any help or advice in this regard... Thanks!
I just want to make sure about your OTD so I can use it as a reference. The $30,533 is the OTD, exclude uncle sam's take, and that is for the EX-L with DVD and NAV? Thanks
We are looking at a new Honda (2007 EX-L w/RES&Nav) and just got a quote from a dealer for $33,700 not including tax & license (invoice price is $32,0013; MSRP $35,490) I have seen here that they are going for a couple thousand less in San Diego. We have also heard that Odysseys are more expensive on the west coast than the east coast. We are wondering if this is a good price for Washington? We don't want any extra features like pinstriping or mudflaps, but it seems like they want to try and add this in. The price above doesn't include any extras. Thanks for anybody who can help!
I just tried doing costco and they called back IMMEDIATELY after I sent the request, but they would discuss nothing over the phone with me and required that I come in to find out the price, and to "discuss the Costco buying program" I said no thanks.
Am I just better off e-mailing them on my own?
I am in the process of making a deal with Goody Honda for 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L w/DVD System Passenger Van (No Navigation).
They would like to match the price of yours as $28,072 selling price, which includes the destination charge.
But I need the quotation or any document, which shows this price, and then they are willing to match it.
It will be a great help, if you can provide me some document or quotation, which you got from Goody Honda, they will give me the same price.
BTW now they are quoting me $28,900 as the best price.
You can email me at samautobuy@yahoo.com or if you have any questions then please call me at 650-483-1145.
I will appreciate your help on this.

Sam
We are too looking in Washington...Eastern side though. We no doubt are going to have to drive over to the Seattle area though to get a competitive price.
My wife and I are about ready to take the leap and have one good price quote from a dealership in the Seattle area for an 07' EX-L w/RES & NAV for $32,150 and that's without driving over there...which we don't want to do unless we have a good price committment. The EX-L w/o NAV&RES price is at $28,700...so I think they are about at invoice.
I think with the supply demand, the dealerships in Washington can get away with a little higher price...we had the same issues when we bought a Pilot.
ps..Keep in touch (Engine33) and let me know if you find a better deal...we want to buy in the next 2 weeks.
EXL - OTD $30,100
Price on Vehicle including Dest Charge : $27868
Honda at Grand , Elmhurst.
If you need specifics contact me directly.
Thanks & keep sharing.
Thanks for your help.
We made the mistake of first going to a well advertised dealer. They gave us a really hard time with our trade and a high price on the new car. When we got up to leave, the deal dropped by $3,250. We still walked out. The next day we read this forum and got a good idea of what others were paying. Then we emailed a number of dealers. We also looked at dealerrater.com for ratings. Reading this forum and contacting dealers by email is definitely the way to go.
Price included free wheel locks and all dealer & destination fees, CT 6% sales tax, etc.
We did not have a trade-in for this purchase, and we did not finance the car.
It's a little confusing comparing this to other people's prices when they don't mention trade-ins, financing, etc, but I feel pretty good about what we paid.
Could you please contact me as soon as you can? I need the copy of your price to get the same price from the dealer.
You can send me an email at samautobuy@yahoo.com OR can call me at 650-483-1145.
Thanks,
Sam
My wife is directionaly challenged and the nav works great! No more cell phone calls from her that start with: "Where am I?"
BTW we also bought a lazy susan as an accessory as it only came with the touring model. Dropped right into the floor location. Other accessories include splash guards, all weather mats and bug shield. All bought after initial purchase, and installed by me.
