I am looking at a 2011 335i Convt. Pretty much loaded out and wanted to see if my numbers were good or if I can do any better. I was going to do a one time payment to save on taxes. Please let me know what you think?

I am in Texas. How much more can I knock off the MSRP, of course Dealer is saying there is not much to go on. I have no problem walking away. Thanks for any feedback.
Is the only way to fly for me. It may be stoic & dull to some, but for me it is so easy to keep clean. I love the red leather interior on the 1er & 3er coupes & convertibles.

Thanks! I am researching for the price of series 3 for a while now. It seems the dealers in Atlanta is a not much flexible but I have time to wait. I agree with you that this is a best time to buy a car with a lot discount from the manufacture. I purchased one in the end of Jan 2010 335i 2009 model MSRP is 51K for 37K + TTL.
Good post on my previous BMW I had an ash tray . I had to go to a subaru dealer to get a plain black 12v plug for the cigarette lighter for my Garmin , but they smoke alot in Europe. The dealer told me to use the ashtray for change. I just bought a new BMW like you,but not AWD I put studs on winters. I was thinking Audi big time. I used to travel on the Audi Pro Ski Tour and the cars they gave us for the East coast and west coast were the most durable and reliable I have driven. I'd drive down to a ski race in Reodosia, New Mexico and Taos. Theres a straight stretch called the Gun Barrel 79 miles long nothin' but mtns on both side and road kill and I have that Audi Quattro doing 110 most of the way.I never got stop out west you can really have fun driving. Now this is a natural aspirated car and living in Vail I have to go across the Continental Dive 12000 feet or so,no problem.I really put the car through the paces in the summer especially going to Jackson Hole Wyoming. We were in the Sierra Madres and the Indian kids were rent snow chains to people to get up the mtn ,base loge is at 10,000 feet and the swich backs are hairy. These Texans driving Linclons were renting like crazy, we had no problems at all. I'll see how the maintence deal works. I'm back in Maine now and can't find a Shell station anywhere.
It's all over BMW forums on the net. It was confirmed by my client advisor as well, cause I told my co-worker when he was looking to buy a 2010 335i. The $2500 is listed in BMWNA web site then in May when 2011 3-series started hitting dealer lots the $1000 extra kicks in.
Along with my trade of the '07 335xi for the 2011 335i xDrive, I tried to see about trading my wife's '08 328xi for a 2010 335i xDrive and take advantage of low financing plus the rebates. We wound up not going for the 328xi trade-in because, out of 140 2010 335i xDrive (90 with Nav and 50 without NAV) in the New England area, not a single one was 6 SP manual. NOT ONE. :confuse:
I even had the Burl Walnut 6 SP shift knob before my car was delivered. It was swapped out before the car left the lot on Day 1! Now, when I watch NASCAR and the IRL on the plasma TV, I can sit in my living room and go "VROOM!! VROOM!!" with the brushed aluminum knob that was replaced. No worries about red-lining either!
Someone is going to write a song like American Pie by Don McLean on the day they roll out the very last BMW stick-shift. Personally, I really hope that day never comes.
Just leased a 2010 335i, 50600 MSRP(premium, sports package, nav, iPod, steptronic, satellite radio), 4000 below invoice, 1700 drive off, $504/month+tax=546. Got .0011 MF as BMW owner, and 57% residual on 36months, 10k/year. Think I got a great deal.
Not much has changed since I bought my 330i back in 2001. I wanted a 4-door with sport & premium packages & 3 pedals on the floor, but my sales rep couldn't locate a single sedan with stick anywhere in the Northeast or the Mid-Atlantic. To get what I wanted, I had to place a factory order.
It was worth it. I still have the car & I still love it.
If I wanted an automatic, I would have bought a Toyota.
I'm looking to purchase a CPO 328i. I am considering 2 options.
1. 2007 328i with premium pkg, 18k miles, ~ $26k. 2. 2009 328i base model, 7k miles, ~ $29.5k.
I have driven the 2007 and like it, but it only has about 9 months of free maint, and 2yrs 9 months of warranty remaining. Meanwhile, the 2009 looks interesting, because it has 3 yrs of free maint, and 5 yrs of warranty remaining.
Question - does $29.5k seem reasonable for a base model 2009 328i (only option on it is a smokers pkg, and I don't smoke!).
I could probably do without the pwr seats and leather, but I liked the lumbar support on the 07. Does the manual seat on the 09 have any lumbar support? How is the standard leatherette, compared to the Dakota leather?
Also, the 2009 is a SULEV S. Africa. What does this mean?
hi prvenk24, I think you should go w option2. std leather and dakota doesnt make a whole lot of diff. end of the day what ppl look at is r u driving a BMW. Don't worry abt the premium package in 07. What you want is peace of mind and warranty. I suggest go for a xi if u can but 29.5 K is not a bad deal. My frnd got a 328xi - 2010 base model for 36K in NJ Good luck and njoy yr drive -Ani
I think you should get a new 2010 328i. most people are able to get 3000-3500 off invoice, and with that, you should pay less than 29500 for a new 328i.
I am talking about any particular car. I think most people are getting 3000-3500 off invoice. So a new 328i costing about 35000 can be purchased for about 29.5k, if you shop around and negotiate. I found that it is easiest to email directly with Internet salesman, and not talk on phone with them until deals is almost finalized.
I would look up CPO price on edmunds.com with all the options on the car, then offer 2000 below that see if they will sell it for you. Don't know if that's the going rate, but doesn't hurt to start low. Also negotiate over email first so they can't pressure you.
I got the best, no going back and forth offer from Valencia BMW, but ended up buying in Camarillo because it is closer to me( they matched the offer). I think they have the best deals.
Hi, everyone. I want to buy a 2010 328i automatic, white color, premium package, the MRSP is 38,500 they offer 37 grand something OTD, I think its too high. What price do you guys think is reasonable? Plz help and give me price buying range. I am in South CA. Thanks!!!
Is there good eveidence for trunk cash available currently? Beyond the $2500 available as a rebate currently? My dealer was dumbfounded when I offered $5000 below invoice on a 2010 328xi... Is he just not being honest on potential trunk cash available??? Thanks in advance!
Hi Marine50505, didn't know how to get back to you. In addition to 2500, there is at least another 1000 available that's not advertised, as some have already posted. I had one dealer offer me 3700 off invoice on a 2010 335i, and another 4000 off with some negotiations. I am sure they have some other incentives, and are making some money off the deals. I would try several dealers and only talk/email their internet sales guys/managers. good luck.
Hello, I went by the dealership today in SoCal, and they have a deal for a:
- white 2010 328i w basic package that they've used as a loaner, with 3890 miles on it - OTD 30,180, with 1.9% APR (I had a lease with them for a new car that I am turning in), which comes out to $3000 down and $475/month over 60 months. - It includes 3.5 years of maintenance.
The car had a small dent in the back and some scratches that they will fix before selling. It's basically like buying a slightly used car.
i am going to contact dealers regarding leasing a 2010 335 xi with COLD WEATHER and PREMIUM PACKAGE, 12k miles per year. what should i expect to get out the door price down to? what are the current monthly lease rates going for on this car with those options? ALL replies welcomed. thank you in advance!
Thanks chaolanren, I heard my friend said he has a friend got 328i with premium package around 34,000 OTD last year. I don't know if it is possible I can get it around 32,000, since the 2011 is out.
MSRP is $41,465. 36,000 included everything except tax, license plates, registration, and a $75 document fee which the dealer claims doesn't even cover their cost for processing the paperwork-going to dmv, getting plates, etc.
I highly recommend BMW of Sudbury in Sudbury, MA. Seek out the General Manager, a Greek name. Ask him who helped Jon W buy a 2011 Tasman Green Metallic 335i xDrive. Between the GM and the particular sales person whom I'm not allowed to name, I am confident you will be happy.
I bought it at Hassel BMW in Freeport on Long Island. The salesman was very easy to deal with, no pressure and no deposit. Called me when the car was in and I bought it for the price we had agreed on.- His first name is Renny. Tell him you want a similar deal to mine. It's a really nice car. Mark
I am also looking for a 2010 328xi. What is the Residual Valu you guys are getting for a 36month, 15kmiles lease. Surprisingly enough I am gettin conflicting values ranging from 52% to 60%. Could someone also also help with the money factor?
I got a new 2011 328XI, auto trani, with basic value package and moonroof, Lease $485 per month, zero cap reduction and taxes rolled into the monthly payment. I think I did good
Looking for a 2011 335d base model in Washington DC area. How much are people paying for it these days? From what I've found online, MSRP is $43,950, and invoice is $40,435. How low should I go? Thanks,
I'm in the SF bay area. Looking to lease a 2011 328i coupe. Here're the invoice costs on the car I want to order from the factory. vehicle: 33305 (MSRP on 2011 car is 36200) black sapphire paint: 500 automatic: 1305 sport package: 1320 moonroof: 955
Total invoice comes to 38260
I talked to the internet sales manager on the phone and she quoted me 38860 for the price of this car and added in $300 (arbitrary?) for a total of 39160. I have a $1000 discount coupon from a BMW driving promotion and am planning to put $5000 down.
For 36 months and 10,000 miles is $450/month a good deal on this car?
Does anyone have an estimate of the money factor and residual percentage that a reasonable BMW dealer in CA should be using on the 2011 3 series lease deal?
If I were you I wouldnt put any money down towards cap cost reduction if your leasing. It does not make sense to do that. Try using that money as multiple security deposits to lower your money factor down (i wouldnt do that either, just put it in a saving account thats going to give you a better yeild). In a lease there's a few factors you should keep your eye on. Selling price, which is 38860, plus the MF and residual. Residuals are set by BMWFS so they will be the same at any dealership. MF on the other hand can be marked up by the dealer (upto 0.0003+). Search the web for the base MF for your car and see what the dealer is offering you. A good start would be to tell the dealer that you are willing to pay $ x dollars over invoice for the car and see what happens. Good luck.
It all depends on how good you are at negotiating. Usually 500-600 above invoice is the norm from what I hear. You should also be getting the 4500 eco credit if you buy it before 6/30 which would reduce the selling price of the car drastically. Keep in mind that there will be a Maco+training fee of $600 thats going to be added on to the invoice price which is a legitamate BMW charge. everything else is negotiable.
so, it's 500-600 above invoice, minus $4500 eco credit, plus $600 (Maco+Training fee), plus TTL. Virginia dealers usually have $399 service charge, is that extra?
