Let us no How you Make out on getting the Maranno let us no the color and all the options. And before I forget if anyone baught a red 2009 Maranno or Nos of a dealer that has one in New York nj ct Pa or any other state Pleas let me no. Copal Nissan in Jakson hights does not have one in stock would have to find one grate dealer ship Thankyou for reading Marco.
Dear forum members, what would be the fair realistic ODT price for 2009 SL AWD with only splash guards and floor mats set - no packages, no other options? MSRP for this vehicle is $30,535. I live in NYC metro area. Thank you for the advices.
Hey that is a grate price for the sl I dont No how mutch lower you wll be able to go does any other foram member have any idea if he can get a beddor deal. If you dont mind me asking what Nissan dealer are you dealing with. I am dealing with Copal Nissan In Jakson Hights. I am taking My time trying to get the best deal. I am from Long Island good luck Pleas keep us updated Thankyou Marco.
If you can find one, you can probably get it at (or very close to) invoice, depending on the dealer. I had a few dealers insist on MSRP, but I ended up with a below invoice deal on mine, as well as a good price on my trade. (I'm in the NYC metro area too.)
OTD price--take invoice, subtract the value of your trade or down payment. Add $200 for misc fees, as well as whatever the tax rate is in your community. That's probably what you're looking at, give or take a few hundred.
Having said that, I put leather, technology, and premium packages on my SL and I love every aspect of them. Worth it--so much pleasure in all of them. So if you can, consider these upgrades.
Even the popular LE can be had for 7% or so discount from MSRP on a lease. We had a dealer hunt down the only LE within 500 miles with tan interior in 3 colors with nav and roof. He also delivered it to me out of state - (NJ). Just have to find the right place.
regarding your MPG, is this your first car with CVT, it takes a wihle to get use to it, but I can tell you once you are, you well find that your MPG well improve...
nice car you will love it. How menny Miles do you have on it now. You have to break in the Engian then you will get bettor gas milage. and alot of it has to do on how the car is drivin. And yes the cvt you have to get used to it Keep us updated thankyou for reading Marco.
The price was good at $700 under invoice. Additional fees were minimal at a total of $175 (including a reasonable doc fee of $150). All numbers were done over e-mail - a very pleasant transaction all things considered. If anyone wants more information or is interested, just send me a message.
I wonder what dealer you got it from?? I had went to St. Charles Nissan and Bomarroto(?) Nissan. I got mine from Bomrarrto Nissan for about the same price, which was a good deal.
I am looking for a 09 SL. I like to have the moonroof, but I don't want to pay for the Tech package. So I am looking at either a FWD with premium and leather, or a AWD with premium, leather and roof.
Does anyone have experience on how much it will cost in phoenix area? right now the lowest I get is 500 above invoice, but looks like everyone here is getting 500 below invoice.
Thank you Joe for the kind words and I do really apprecaite you posting your deal here on this forum. Just to clarify though to some other people that Joe bought his for $1000 under invoice because there was a $500 rebate going for that weekend only. Also, there was a program from Nissan that we had to sell X amount of vehicles to make a quota and so it was kind of a special situation that allowed me to give Joe sucha great deal! Good for joe and good for me! Anyway a more typical price on a 09 Murano is going to be around Invoice or if you use me about $200 under invoice as long as it is in stock and not a LE with navagation. These are a bit harder to come by and if you want white "good luck" right now. Again thanks for the mention and I hope anyone here in the St.Louis are atleast gives Me here at Bommarito a chance to give you the best deal!
I live in CT, I've been looking for the Murano in the le model with the navigation but dealers are not budging under 38K does anyone have any suggestions or dealer contacts?? any help would be great I would like to buy ASAP
I bought my black/black 09 LE with Navigation and sunroof at Fitzgerald Nissan in Chambersburg, PA. for $1,000.00 under invoice. I live in Florida, so I did the entire transaction over the phone and the car was shipped to me by carrier.. Their salespeople are wonderful!
Yea I called them they dont have any in stock and they are not planning on getting any with the navigation anytime soon But thanks I will continue to search for a great price!!!! I refuse to pay 40K for it!!!! :shades:
you got an sl moddle for that price that is a grate price verry good. what dealer did you bye from in Nj. Still looking in to the s moddle not rushing keep us updated and keep on posting those Maranno prices thankyou for reading.
I got my SL AWD 2009 from Windsor Nissan in East Windsor NJ. They beat the price of a few competitors. I would stay away from Sansone and Springfield Nissan since they both gave me the run around and tried to throw in extra fees and nonsense once they printed the paperwork. I actually signed a deal with Springfield Nissan for a Merlot SL AWD which they were getting from another dealership. They never got the car and never answered my calls. It was a nightmare. I had to contact the BBB to get my deposit back.
I purchased my Murano on Monday. I was looking to get a SL with premium package (I wanted the XM radio), but I got almost nothing for my trade in which made me go to the S to stay within my budget. I had a 2001 Expedition with high miles. The best offer I got on it was about $3000 under blue book value. One dealer told me that they didn't want to take it. If you have a used SUV to trade or sell you can't get anything for it. Anyway, I paid 25,400 for the S, a little more than $300 under invoice. Getting that price was fairly easy, all of the haggling was over the trade in. The Murano is great, I may have the base model (I just plug my portable XM into the auxillary), but it looks and rides the same, which is awesome. Plus, the better gas mileage than my old beast is wonderful.
Hey I am so glad you are so happy with your Maranno I no you will love it I am working on getting the s moddle in new York at copal have bin so bizzy not in a rush wil have one bye the end of the munth if anyone nos of any other grate dealers in new York pleas let me no thankhyou so mutch Marco.
I have been looking for a loaded SL AWD for almost a month now. I have had some very trying experiences . Here is the config I want -
Black with Beige leather SL AWD Premium Technology Moonroof Leather Navigation
I live in Richmond,VA and have looked around in a 100 mile radius, but no one seems to have this car on their lot. I suspect that no one is ordering new stuff since their inventory doesn't move. At the same time, they are not flexible on the price.
I had a quote from a local Richmond dealer for around 32k. It seemed really good, but they did not have the car so I decided to look aound more. Rosenthal Nissan in Tysns Corner was the worst. The guy was very rude on the phone. He told me he had it on the lot but then refused to give a VIN number, there was also a bunch of guys sniggering in the background. He asked if I needed a good deal and then asked 'Why' very rudely..He said he would give me the last 6 of the VINa nd said it was 123..., which was obviously made up. They said they had an offer going for 5k off sticker. I went there driving all the way up, and they actually gave me a price higher than sticker. The manager there said she was not responsible for what someone told me on the phone!! ( and this was the last day of the month) I went back to my old dealer to put in an order, and guess what -- he now says that 35-36 is his best price. I have called or talked to 8-10 dealers but they all say that they do not have this combo. What is so rare about this car?
I think I should perhaps venture out of state? I am not sure how the registration etc. works in that case. I am so frustrated with this whole process that now if someone tells me they got the car, it will be difficult to believe them..
What do you guys think? Appreciate any comments and advice. Do you think its unreasonable to expect to get this for 32-33? Is it ok to ask VIn number, and should I smell something fishy if people refuse a Vin number.
Is there a way to authenticate a certain dealer's inventory, to really confirm that they have the car?
I think your expectation may be too high, at least right now since there is no rebate for 09 Murano. The invoice for all the options you listed is 34,427, plus almost all the cars will have cargo protector, floor mat, etc, so you are looking at an invoice around 34600. I would think high 33k is doable, but 32k may be too optimistic.
Regarding the color combo, yes, based on my own experience, it is very rare. For someone reason there are many black on black but not many black with beige. I have to settle with a blue/beige, but now I kinda like it. I got my Murano last weekend:
Deep Sapphire / Beige SL AWD, Premium+Leather+Moonroof.
I don't want to pay for Technology and the only car in the entire state has some other things like the illuminated door sill, cargo protector, cross bar, splash guard, floor mat and rubber cargo mat.
MSRP: 34,805, Invoice: 31,827
I paid 31,000, no trade-in and no finance.
The finance guy is trying to sell me the lojack, I refused, But when I got home, I found there is a lojack ID card and certificate in the glove box. Looks like the lojack was installed by the previous dealer where my dealer got the car for me. Could it be possible that they took the device out but still left the certificate in the car? I just think it's too good to be true.
WOW! You are a very patient person. I hope everything got worked out. I HUGELY appreciate your description about what happened as I live in the St Louis area and am working with several dealers, one of which was Lou Fusz. Guess what? I just crossed them off my list. Again, good luck! Thanks, Jim
Jim, I got mine during the Memorial Day Sale it was also the end of the month. It had a $500 discount from Nissan so I got $1000 below dealer invoice. Here is what the salesman said on this forum after I bragged on the deal I got:
Thank you Joe for the kind words and I do really apprecaite you posting your deal here on this forum. Gas had gone up since then, if you read the news the SUV's and Crossovers are not selling. So you should get a good deal. Hold out for at least $1000 below Invoice. Go to Edmunds to get the invoice before going.
BTW I am getting 20 to 24 MPG depending on if I get on the highway!
Hey I red your hole posting Yes the black with bage interior will be harde to find I think YOu should look at Fits Mall.com Fits mall Nisssan is in Pa THey Have fixed Priceing and they might be able to find you the black with bage interior rair but I think they should be able to find you one. Or evan Copal Nissan in Jaksonhights Queans in new York to or Lejened Nissan on Long Island in New york. I no all of theese dealers are far away from you but just trying to Help you out Not shore of any good nissan dealers around whair you live if anyone nos of any good nissan dealers in va pleas let Us no thankyou for reading Let me no if I can do anything elce to help you out. thankyou for reading my posting.
We had trouble fuinding our LE. We ended up paying invoice and having one shipped to a NJ dealer (Classic) who then drove it to us in Philly suburbs. Beautiful color combo - hold out and find one - you'll be so glad you did.
Apparently there's a $1000 owner loyalty incentive on the '09 murano right now. I can't seem to verify if is limited to former Murano owners or former Nissan owners. My wife and I both drive Nissans. I have a 350z and she drives a leased Altima. We have a baby on the way and I am considering selling my 350z and getting a Murano. The one dealer that mentioned this incentive says it is for Murano owners only. I can't find any info about it except to verify its existence on cars.com (none of the Nissan incentives seem to be up on edmunds).
i have a pretty good offer of $300 under invoice currently plus the $500 cash off, but i'd obviously prefer the $1,000 off.
Also, are most people able to get their dealers to waive their dealer fees. i haven't been able to get any dealer to do so yet and they are all about $600 to $750.
what moddle of the Maranno are you trying to get what is the price of the moddle and what price are they giving you. and with dealer in what state are you dealing with. are you contacting quite a few dealers with 100 miles of your Location to get differant prices pleas keep us updated the mor information you can give us the mor we can help you out thankyou for reading have a verry good day.
i bought a 09 murano SL yesterday from palm beach nissan got the leather package, SL premium pack. SL tech pack, dual sunroof, nav package and 300.00 in small extras.....paid 34100. out the door, cash. i think that was a real good deal.. please comment........thanks
Wow - I think that is an AMAZING deal. Any tips on what was needed to get that deal? I have never seen anything that low including Nav - essentially that is every option available. When I price that out on an LE (Dealers have typically said just to go with LE with Nav) it is close to $40k invoice. Do share!
the sticker price plus tax tag title and dealer fees....everything,was right at 41000.00. turned in my 05 murano which was leased right on the day it was due...had a few things wrong to the tune of 496.00 dollars, had to pay 0 for that...plus 1,000.00 rebate...i had a real good idea what the car would sell for when i went in....told them i had a few other cars to look at first...really loved the murano after leasing the 05 for 42 months....so i told the salesman i'd give him 34000.00 out the door, never thinking he would take that....he said if i can do that will you take it today...as they always say...i said yes and i ment it.he came back with a price of 34875.00...i said i will take it at 34000.00 cash...not that cash makes a difference...then he said let's split the 875. i said no...so he came back at 34100.00 plus a full tank of gas...worth about 100. and free pin striping.....so i took it..he told me the next day you got a really good deal on that car weather you know it or not... they made 300.00 on the deal....weather thats true or not i don't know...but i thought that was a really good deal plus i love the car
I stopped by a dealership today that had a new '07 (Red/Black) with 130 miles on the lot that they had bought off of Nissan so it's no longer on a floor plan. New car info is no longer available on Edmunds for a new '07. The car has a MSRP of $37,910 & they are asking $31,912. The salesman told there was no more room to negotiate. After a test drive with my wife, I turned in the keys & my saleman was busy with another customer. So, I returned the keys to manager who said there was room to negotiate (no surprise). What would be a good price for this vehicle?
think about the fact the car is 2 years old already that's about at least 4000.00 right there as a loss.....try to sell a 2 year old car even if it has a thousand miles on it an see what you can get for it....i can buy a 09 for that price....loaded...if you like that model better then i would drop a price of say 26,000 out the door and stick to it...if for sure he won't do it maybe 26500 or 27000,if that's a no...then i'd leave but of corce leave my number....if it were me i'd go no higher then 26,000 or a little over.....if that didn't work i'd buy a 09....
are you sure about that money factor.....what % is the residual?do you have any rebates?did you ask to see the invoice.....i do think thats a really good price........really good
Thanks for the feeback. They wouldn't go anywhere close to $26k or $27k. They would only come down another $500 to $31.4. Based on your advice I've done some more looking around and I agree I can get an '09 equipped the way I want for about the same money or less. Or if I decide to get a used '07 or '06 I can definitely do a lot better. Strangely enough when I asked about rebates on a '09 at the same dealer the said there aren't any but when I talk to dealers out of state they say there is a $500 rebate. I know there are sometimes regional difference but this seems odd to me.
Has anyone heard any rumors about a change in rebates in the near future?
