if the lease is in southern california, what will be the differences, if any?

2014 RAV4 LE what is the RV & MF for 12,000 miles per year 24 months & 36 months Lease, will the XLE model be the same or different?

How about the RAV4 AWD models?

No differences that I can see. 2WD, 4WD, LE, XLE ... all have the same information.

In Silicon Valley, I've been to 3 separate dealerships, and for the 4WD Limited model, all have approx. 59% RV for 12k/36 months. Lower than what I thought it would be based on what I saw on this forum, but it's consistent across all the dealerships I visited. MF was .00001 as stated in the forum. $750 lease cash.

The Toyota numbers are regional, but we don't have all the regions.

Negotiating on payments instead of price usually costs you more, whether you are leasing or buying.

That's why @Michaell was asking about MSRP and selling price - you don't just take the price set by the dealer when you negotiate a lease..

I reevaluated my lease needs and settled on a 2014 Rav4 Limited because of the 'apparent' residual values. On a 24mth/12K lease..MSRP $32839 in upstate NY..the salesman told me a sell price of $31000...then a few minutes later asked me where I got that number from. Quotes me a $528/Mth payment. I had calculated a figure closer to $300. His residual values were way less than mine...supposedly from Toyota vales. 36/12k payment was $442. Seems WAY off to my calculations. He told me that I should get rid of my cell phone lease calculator app! How should I revisit this?

Toyota residuals are hard to calculate. The report percentages only apply to base models with no options.. The more options, the lower the effective residual percentage. Even a Toyota dealer has to look at the individual invoice for each unit to get the residual..

It sucks to shop for a Toyota lease, which is why I've never had one. Honda is much more straightforward.

Best information I have is .00001 MF and 64% for 36/12 on the '14 and .00075 and 66% for 36/12 on the '15.

Not sure this information is consistent across all regions. Your mileage may vary.

Looking for some help negotiating a lease for a 2015 Toyota RAV4 XLE AWD in NY.
I have a selling price of 26,400; residual value of 17,316, and a dealer stated money factor of .00075
I am also not putting any money down except for associated DMV fees
Can you please assist to calculate payment using those terms?

The closest numbers I have are from California - .00075 and 66% for 36/12. Add 1% to residual if a 10K program is available.

I was quoted a MF of .00035 in WI. Haven't yet negotiated a sales price but MSRP for Rav 4 Limited, including $505 for "white" package, $725 for Tech pkg, and $200 for all weather mats (which they sneaked in) comes to $32165 (incl $885 fee). Residual $18906. What's a decent sales price? Thanks

You can use the "Make, Model, Year" pull downs at the top of the screen to help determine a good target selling price.

Have an update on my WI proposal from another dealer. MSRP $32190, neg price $30242; RV 19131; MF .00055. For 3/36k lease they come up with a price of $386 a/t (rate here is 5.5%). When I told them my calculator comes up with a different number I'm told they have to include another $500 in fees for advertising and gasoline. Really?

Should have also noted lots of upfront fees as well. Also left out an additional dealer fee of $199. So all told more than $1000 in fees. What a game!

We went to Toyota (WA state) last night and their deal was this:
2015 RAV4 Limited
36/12
Purchase price: invoice
Money Factor: .00001 (2014) .00075 (2015)
Residual: 56.5 % (2014) 59% (2015)
Lease cash: $1000 (2014) $500 (2015)

We are not getting this car because we can get better deals elsewhere. They didn't seem interested in selling the car and we walked out after about a 5 min negotiation.
