Ford/GM are thanking the stars that Toyota can only make 60K a year. If you have an Expy, you're going to have most of your aggravations solved by a SQ. The functionality and ease of the seats of the SQ is so good that I believe that it even steals sales from people who think that only a Suburban/Excursion will do. After our Expy got totalled, my wife was convinced that only a sub/yuk-xl would do. However, after seeing SQ, the others just seemed poorly designed, cumbersome, and a hassle to drive.
Just make sure you give it a look before buying something else, even if you think it's over your budget.
Calvin and Hobbes are my all time favorite comic strip "realists"! I didn't quite care for the Catch-22 character, but I think that if ol' Yoss has reinvented his handle to C&H, his own character shal shine thru regardless of the name, font, HTML code, or signature. And, if Calvinhobbes isn't Yoss, we're gonna be in beeg trubble, Steempy! -Di
Well, after lurking around and considering the Sequoia vs. Yukon, I just went down and put a deposit on a Sequoia that is coming in three weeks to one of the local dealers (Chicago-area).
I was able to negotiate $1,800.00 below MSRP. (MSRP. plus the delivery charge). Is this a good deal? I pushed and pushed, but this is the best I could get.
By the way, it is a Limited with a Sunroof, side air bags, spoiler and CD changer. The color is Silver (the sales manager said that made a difference because that is the most popular color along with Black - but I thought this was a bunch of bull).
I am interested to know if you all think that I got ripped.
Also, the dealership allowed me to take home their demonstrator -- to help me make up my mind. I really was impressed. All the (few) negative things I have heard about this vehicle did not really seem that big of a deal.
1. Shaking of car when opening one rear window. This only occurred when I rolled one of the two rear windows all the way. When are you going to drive on the highway with only one of the rear windows rolled down all the way. This is not big deal and is clearly caused by the vacuum that is created and probably occurs in all vehicles this size. 2. The bass on the stereo. This is definitely apparent -- but not as big a deal as everyone says. 3. The cheesy mastic looking/carbon fiber trim. This kind looks cool and even my wife, who is picky about everything, said what's all the fuss.
A few final comments. The steering has a bit too much play, the seats could be a bit more comfy and the thing could get a bit better gas mileage. But overall this thing blows away everything in its class. This is a class "A" vehicle. Let’s just hope that the quality is the same as all the other Toyota products.
The side impact airbags are just for the front seats. However, the side impact curtain airbags that drop down from the roofline do extend all of the way to the C-pillar. No, side impact airbags for the rear seats are not dangerous for kids in car seats if the seats and the kids are properly restrained and seated.
Drew Host Vans and Aftermarket & Accessories message boards
Just curious ... on a tall SUV, isn't it more optimal to have side airbags all the way instead of curtains all the way? And of course even better to have both side airbags and side curtains all the way? Especially if restrained children are riding?
If the SUV is hit by a car, most impact would be low; the side curtains would certainly help any adult's recoiling head impact and prevent broken glass from coming in, but then there are abdominal considerations. For restrained children, any lateral movement in the childseat could be against the door, depending on how low the curtain goes.
If the SUV is hit by another SUV or minivan, the forces are obviously higher (though not like they're crashing through the window, however), and maybe the curtains help adults more but there's still the children issue?
E.g. the M-class started with rear side airbags, and curtains will come in 2002; that just seems like a more logical progression.
Has anyone added a Grille Guard to their new Sequoia yet? Was it hard to install? Any suggestions on where to get one? I have been looking at different web sites and found one at toyotasuvaccessories.com for $299. Seems like a great deal considering the dealer wanted more than twice as much to install one, but I want to confirm before I order. Any feedback is appreciated.
If CH = Y, interesting indeed. Hey, brillmtb, I don't want to get involved.
On Fog Lamps,it's interesting because one of the dealerships I got in touch with said that Fog Lamps can actually be installed at the dealership for $375, parts and labor. I forgot to verify if these are Toyota parts or other aftermarket accessories. If true, this brings in two points: (1) At least we can install it on an SR5 and (2) the price seems to be slightly less than the $180 + $180 + $100 = $460 that people previously mentioned. I still wished I would not have to pay over $200 for it.
Yes, agreed. My guess is that Toyota may want to stay out of the rear side airbag issue for now because of the questions about it. Not only this, but since Toyota uses seat integrated airbags (vs. the Porsche/BMW/MB door mounted side airbags), the rear seats would have to be designed for this. With the limited amount of space in the seatbacks, not to mention the tumbling 2nd row 40% seat, this is obviously not easy. Come to think of it, it will be interesting how Acura tackles this issue as well in their future models. BTW, the seat mounted side airbags can be heavy (50 lbs!).
Drew Host Vans and Aftermarket & Accessories message boards
Thanks for the info. Now, I'm sure I am missing something here, but wouldn't seat-mounted side airbags (if they were available) be more effective (safer) than door-mounted side airbags? In the Seq and a number of other vehicles, I believe you can recline the 2nd row seatback to a number of positions, and you can also slide the 2nd row forward and back.
If the side airbags were mounted in the door, might they not provide optimal cushioning depending on the angle of the seatback and the passenger? I'm sure they're made longer than they are tall to help compensate for this (remembering your pictures), but it doesn't guarantee a "sweet spot." Whereas a seat-mounted seatbag would provide "sweet spot" cushioning regardless of seatback incline and seat aft/rear positioning?
Frankly, I've never heard a satisfactory explanation as to why one is better than the other. I think both are probably equally good (bad?). Note that in the vehicles that do have door mounted airbags, the rear seatbacks are fixed or have a limited range of movement fore and aft.

You should have spend more and gone for an LX470!!!!! It has auto lights and auto everything, except it still won't drive itself. It still needs a driver. It is great. I have one. Yeah, the LX470 is more than the SEQ, but it is just my style, I guess.
As for worrying about battery run down.....you can get an aftermarket baterry installed in your SEQ with battery run down protection.......this would be an under $100 option vs a $20000 option to upgrade to the LX470 vs the SEQ you currently have.
Really.....If you are happy with your SEQ.....then that is ALL THAT MATTERS.....I am sure that Toyota is working on improvements on the SEQ already as they are also working on improvements on the LX470. I think one of the problems with the demestic products is that they are so busy working on the fancy gadgets on the car/truck and they forgot the primary goal and that is all the fancy gadgets won't do anything for you if the vehicle is broken down......TRY TO MAKE A DODGE MINIVAN TO LOCK ALL ITS DOORS AUTOMATICALLY AT 19 MPH.....IF THE MINIVAN IS BROKEN DOWN AND CAN'T MOVE AT ALL!!!!!@#$#%@# You get my point.
>Everthing I've read to date does NOT indicate >that the LC has a "Safer permanent 4wd"
>The SQ can be switched to 4WD on the first day >of ownership and stay in that mode forever. It's >operation in that 4WD mode is the same as LC. >The SQ has the ADDITIONAL capability to run in >2WD that the LC doesn't. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Hey thirdsuv,
NO WAY MAN!!!! I am not an expert on mechnical enginerring, but based on what I know and told by experts, the 4WD systems on the LC/LX470 are totally different compared to the SEQ.
Yah.......GO AHEAD AND LEAVE THE 4WD ENGAGED IN YOUR SEQ AT ALL TIMES AND SEE HOOOOWWWWW LLLOOOOOONNNGGGGG (ACTUALLY HOW SHORT) your SEQ's 4WD transmission system will last!!!!!! Seriously DON'T DO IT....IT WILL WEAR OUT A LOT SOONER......SURELY BEFORE YOU ARE DONE WITH YOUR PAYMENT OF THE SEQ. The LC/LX470 on the other hand are designed to be engaged AT ALL TIMES....as matter of fact...you can not disengage the 4WD system.....that is the beauty of the permanent 4WD system.
After weeks of internet research, local price comparison, SUV magazine reading, loan APR comparison shopping, calling dealerships, SUV comparison test drive with Exp and Tahoes, reading you guys input here and Toy Tundra msg boards. (BTW, thanks, yall input was very informative and entertaining reading) I finally came to a conclusion. I put a deposit yesterday for a SEQ! out the door price of $36,500 with the following options. AC, AH, CC, CQ, CF, DR, GN, HP and LA Sky Silver Metallic with light charcoal interior. I bought it at Gatorland Toyota (352)376-3262. I cant wait to drive it home. As far as all the fuzzes about shaking of car when opening one rear window, wind noise when travelling over 65, stereo bass, clicking/ticking sounds and " transmission thump". you know, I didnt see/hear all of these negatives during the test drive, or its not a big deal to ME this SUV handles smooth and very quiet! The best bet is to drive it yourself and observe em. I believe SEQ is an outstanding SUV which will last me a long time with minimal trouble. Questions: Driver seat power lumber, is it part of CC package?. i didnt get the Toyo guard protection group. is it worth it?? how can i get fog lights and what brand should i get? youre input appreciated. Go jaguars!
I would like to thank all of you on this board for providing invaluable info that made my Seq purchase much less painful and time consuming than previous purchases. I saved alot of legwork that I normally go through to shop prices. I visited several local dealers and called others... even enlisted the help of Autobytel. I spent about 2 weeks for the whole process, where usually it takes me 2 months or more. Dropping 45k on a car doesn't come easy for me.
Now for the good part: The silver sky limited had a 45,054 MSRP. I got it for 42,349 which is 2705 below MSRP. This included everything (even 249 that dealer insisted on for "overhead",what BS! ) except tax, tag and title. I know it's not the best deal ever, but I don't think I got beat-up too bad. Whataya think ?
I hate to point this out again, but the Sequoia has the exact same 4WD system as the Land Cruiser (and LX 470) with the exception of the ability to be in 2WD and the method for locking the center differential. Go back and read the previous posts on this issue. The Sequoia is safe and reliable in 4WD all the time.
Cliffy. To play devils advocate, your statement "the Sequoia has the exact same 4WD system as the Land Cruiser (and LX 470) with the exception of the ability to be in 2WD" is contradictory.
It can't be "exactly the same" but have something different.
I would consider it to be "exactly the same" if the two vehicles had the identicle component part numbers on the whole drive system and the SEQ has added some computer programming and control sequence of the pumpkins to allow 2WD. If thats the case that's great.
I'm sure netmiami will make the arguement that there are different pumpkins or other drive components (I don't know if that is the fact) and therefore the SEQ reliability is unproven.
Anyone with kids young enough for car seats has no business in a 42-thousand dollar truck. You belong in a 1975 Plymouth Duster, vinyl seats, bald snow tires, and no a/c.
Then again, you'd buy this truck for little Muffy the Mrs. who puts 4 miles a day on it....
Okay, how about this. When the Sequoia is in 4WD High mode, the Sequoia's full-time 4WD and the Land Cruiser/LX470's permanent 4WD system both behave the same way? I think Steve (cliffy1) says that they're the same simply because it is easier to understand.
Physically, they're different systems mainly since the Sequoia has a transfer case that allows the front prop shaft to be disengaged (hence 2WD - specifically rear wheel drive mode) whereas the Land Cruiser/LX470 does not. That's the distinction between full-time 4WD and permanent 4WD systems. The former has a 2WD mode, whereas the latter is always sending power to the four wheels, regardless of road conditions. Both systems have centre differentials which allow 4WD to operate on dry roads without drivetrain/powertrain damage. The problem is that so many different auto magazines, auto manufacturers use different (and often conflicting) terms to describe AWD/4WD that the consumers get confused.

Is anyone here install Fog Lights for SQ SR5. Any ideas how-to procedure let post it that's will be helpful for everyone here. Also, can we buy from Toyota and install it by ourself??? Thanks for any comments...
I have been research for awhile now, but I can't get a straight answer from anyone. How can I install a Fog Lights to SR5. I found there is a connector for fog lights but NO POWER to it. I can get a pair fog lights from Toyota for $250 but I still struggling on power source. Now, how can we install a fog lights using same headlights switch....any comments will be helpful. I know you guys have great knowledge about Toyota. thanks.
I just purchased (one week ago) a 2001 Toyota Sequoia SR5 and have the following problem. The "VSC TRAC" light and "VSC OFF" light are on simultaneously. The owners manual provides instructions directing that the vehicle be taken to a dealer for service if this occurs. We are planning to take ours in immediately.
Has anyone experienced a problem similar to this one ? Is this a potentially serious problem or possibly just an electronic glitch ? After being a lifelong Toyota supporter, I had some reservations about buying the "American Built" Toyota Sequoia....I hope this problem is minor and the first and last that I will have with this vehicle.

As I recall, a couple of owners in the Toyota Sienna message board had the same problem. Both were resolved by changing the steering angle sensors. Perhaps that may be your problem? I know that for the M-class, the system may display an error if the battery is disconnected and reconnected. All that may be required to clear the idiot lights in this case is to turn the steering wheel full lock to the left, then full lock to the right, back to the centre, and drive for a couple of minutes. I'm not sure if this is applicable to Toyota's VSC unit though.

In 625 you said "Sequoia has a transfer case that allows the front prop shaft to be disengaged". Are you sure about that or are you guessing and maybe they have the same transfer case but Sequoia has front hubs that are engaged by the 4WD switch. I asked this question a few weeks ago and got no reply.
I'd like to think you are right because that would mean less wear on the front drive components and a little better summer mileage, but in theory it could be done either way.
I don't know the answer to your question. I do know that you would not be able to active fog lights in the same manner as those who own the Limited because the switch is built into the turn signal at the factory. You should be able to install some sort of dash mounted switch. My information on the Sequoia is mostly limited to factory equipment. There is just too much aftermaket stuff to keep track of.
There are a number of reasons those lights are on. I had an Avalon owner with those lights on and it had nothing to do with the VSC system. He had a bad connection in the vapor recovery system in his fuel tank. It took 5 minutes to fix it and the problem never returned. In addition to the VSC lights, he also had the check engine light on. See your dealer.
The alternatives to geeting the factory switch (which is rumored to be $100)
Wireless remote control switch = $50
or
Existing Low beam circuit driving relay = $10 (fog lights always on with low beams) Please...no flames on the wisdom of this choice. There's an existing another forum for that.

Yes my wife and I have two babies and they are both in diapers.........
Yes, they both require car seats......
And YES, we all ride in the LX470.........
And YES.....the LX470 at JM LEXUS in S. FL where we bought the new LX470 from were shocked to see ALL OF US. Oh, well.....that's what we wanted an LX470. So far the truck served us well and will continue to do so until something new comes out.
In my opion, if one buys a vehicle and not use it and drive it...then what is the point of having it.......don't get me wrong...I don't abuse the LX470. I just think and feel better that my family deserves the best vehicle that I could possibly get.....in this case an LX470. But if I am just traveling a short distance to my office by myself......I take my old van instead and leave the LX470 to my wife and kids.....
p.s....btw if you can buy a new LX470 for 42....please let me know....I will buy another one. As mentioned by Mikeh14....he seemed to have gotten a great deal on the LX470 for 42!!??? I thought I did OK with JM LEXUS?????
What on earth does all of that mean? :::inserting stern look:::
I am looking for input here for a sec. As you all know, the brochure says the "PM" package has leather etc and mentions heated front seats, but I was told by a buyer/owner that his "PM" car had no heated seats. I know that on the east coast and the southern states, there is a port-installed leather that isn't in the "PM" package that is done to cars, and isn't heated seats.
Is there anyone here in the western US area with the actual "PM" package on their MSRP who can clear up my confusion? I want to simply know if the "PM" package = leather heated front seats or was the brochure mis-printed? I mean, it happens, and Toyota does have the right to make changes after a brochure is designed and mass produced, but 'til I see a "PM" car (we have to order build these) I can't be sure.
I have the PM package and it does not have the heated seats. On the positive side, the truck is great and has not made any funny clicking or tapping noises. In fact, the engine is quiet and smooth. I hope Toyota decides to do something to take care of those of us who ordered the PM package sight unseen and expected that heated seats were included in the price based on the brochure. Hiding behind mouse print disclaimers in the brochure when folks have dropped 40 large on a vehicle is not what I would call positive customer relations. Kind of makes me want to buy another Honda/Acura.
You means I can changed the low beams relay that is will making the power source to fog lights connector? any advice will be great.?
Existing Low beam circuit driving relay = $10 (fog lights always on with low beams) Please...no flames on the wisdom of this choice. There's an existing another forum for that.
In post 624 I was referring to a Sequoia Limited 4x4, not an LX470. You can indeed buy that vehicle for $42,000. I agree with netmiami that if I could find an LX470 for 42, I would buy 10 of them.
And, my real point is this:
It pisses me off to see people who don't work (either housewives or Mr. Mom's) yet still feel they need a 40K+ vehicle to basically go to the grocery store and make sure Johnny gets to soccer practice on time. It's just not necessary!
Before everyone responds, I know that housewives probably work harder than I do most days, and that it is absolutely a full-time job. You certainly have my respect because I couldn't do it myself.
You just don't need a big SUV.
Or maybe I'm just an [non-permissible content removed]. You tell me.
I have had this vehicle for not quite two weeks... was driving out in the country and noticed the orange gas warning tank illuminated on the dash... computer said I had 5 miles left... fortunately, nearest gas station was 4 miles away... what an awful shame if I had run out of gas in my brand new car!!... only was able to put 18 gallons in it... thought perhaps the orange gas warning tank on the dash had come on quite a bit sooner and I just had not noticed it....18 gallons alarmed me as I thought the sequoia was a 26 gallon tank... today, computer said I had 26 miles to go before running out of gas, the gage was almost to zero, and again, could only put in 21 gallons.... the orange gas tank was not on at this time... anyone else had this happen??? my minivan, the gas warning came on when I had 40 miles left, and beeped every now and then...do they really have 26 gallon tanks???
seq4x4, Tha absolute lowest cost method is that you just connect the low beam wire of the headlight to the fog light. That however is not a good idea because the extra current draw of the fog lights could possible overload the wire/relay/fuse for. the existing low beam and obviously cause problems.
Instead, a better way is to use the low beam wire to drive the COIL of a NEW relay which is a very small amount of extra cuurent for the low beam circuit. Then you add a NEW wire/fuse from fuse panel and run it through the switch part of the relay and that drives your fog light. The result is that when ever the low-beams are on the relay will be activated and the fog lights will be on. When you switch to high beams, the fogs go off as normal. The downside for this whole circuit is that the fog lights are ALWAYS on when your low beams are on. Some people object to that mode of operation.
Thanks. Do you know the current Limited Sequoia Fog Lights operated? Is there a separate switch for it or it built-in the headlights switch. I just wonder how-is-works.
Another things I just curiously why TOYOTA having two(2) different wiring systems for Sequoia? I maybe wrong on this, any comments will be helpful.

So my question for you is.......Where and HOW do you see ANY 40K+++ vehicle fit in?????? I forgot if you mentioned you own a 40K++++ vehicle?? If so what kind is it??? We are in a country where freedom rules and one of the ways people express themselves is through the brand and level of vehicles they drive among other things. If one wants to ride a bicycle to go to the grocery store vs. driving a 40K++++ vehicle to get grocery....so what.....it is OK. As for why you get so pissed off to see a housewife or a Mr. MOM driving a 40K++++ vehicle to the grocery store or just to make sure Johnny gets to the soccer game.....I DON'T KNOW. But I have a lot of respect for housewives and Mr. MOM's.....I did not realize this until I had two babies back to back very close together. I work full time.....a lot of hours >90+ per week. My wife takes care of our two kids....believe me it is MORE THAN A FULL TIME JOB. You should not get pissed off simply because someone drives a 40K+++ vehicle just to get grocery or to take the kid to the game. Eversince my wife heard the pharse, "soccer MOM"........ my wife just simply does not want to drive a mini-van unless she has to. Let's face it......a 40K+++++ vehicle is not for everyone.....if it were for everyone....then we would not have KIA, Suzuki, and Geo SUV (just to name a few). These are great vehicles if it fits one's lifestyle and needs.......but they just don't drive the same as a 40K+++ SUV (this is a "want" issue). The 40K++ vehicle will drive very different vs a 60K++++ LX470. It is also true that a 60K+++ LX470 will drive even more different vs a 130K++++ Mercedes G class (NOT THE USUALL M CLASS SUV YOU SEE ALL OVER THAT IS MADE IN ALABAMA) SUV (G class is an EXTREMELY LIMITED PRODUCTION vehicle). WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU SEE A MERCEDES G CLASS SUV/WAGON pull up to a grocery store???? And Johnny jumps out to get some ice cream???? And the driver is a stay at home housewife who according to you "does not work"????!!!@$#%#$^ Again I have a lot of respect for housewives.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Before everyone responds, I know that housewives probably work harder than I do most days, and that it is absolutely a full-time job. You certainly have my respect because I couldn't do it myself. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You should say housewives in fact work harder....not probably!!!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You just don't need a big SUV. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Ah......what one wants and needs are two totally different issues. What appears to be one's wants does not always match another's needs. This is where the conflict is.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Or maybe I'm just an [non-permissible content removed]. You tell me. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
NO, you are not an [non-permissible content removed]. You just need to learn how to understand various people's needs and wants and also to learn that not everyone thinks the same way as you do when it comes to vehicle choices....Again when it comes to SUV alone....the market is flooded with many many different choices from KIA, Suzuki, and Geo all the way to the Mercedes G wagon. If one is happy with his/her choices and get a lot of use from the vehicle...then that person had made the right choice.
What's got to do with HOUSEWIFE working or not, I just don't get it. Everybody have different live style if he/her can afford it then none of your business are you getting jealous? To me, the man what's their wife & kids safety and some idiots out there driving so crazy nowsadays so be it. MikeH1, cheerup. I thought this side to help everyone ideas on new SEQUOIA....
Has anyone been able to get an SR5 without the contrasting color exterior trim? The brochure says it's "available," which to me means you can get one with a matching color vs. contrasting. I have yet to see one, and my dealer clearly doesn't know (but lies anyway). Would I have to order one that way? CAN I order one that way? I was hoping perhaps Cliffy or Diane could shed some light for me.
How about we stop feeding this idiots ego and just let this one go. He is obviously trying to get under people's skin and by responding this way we are just giving him what he wants.
Here's a good one... There was a review of the Sequoia in this weeks Sunday Boston Globe. The review was very favorable, generally refering to the Sequoia as the new standard for full size SUV's (going from memory here). What was funny was that in the 'Pros and Cons' section the only 'con' they had was that dirt built up on the running boards and that snow and ice may build up as well. I guess that's it. Recall city, I'm getting rid of mine. Anyone want a slightly used Sequoia with dirty running boards?

I still wished I would not have to pay over $200 for it.

Enjoy your SEQ.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The LC/LX470 on the other hand are designed to be engaged AT ALL TIMES....as matter of fact...you can not disengage the 4WD system.....that is the beauty of the permanent 4WD system.
a SEQ! out the door price of $36,500 with the following options.
Now for the good part:
The silver sky limited had a 45,054 MSRP. I got it for 42,349 which is 2705 below MSRP. This included everything (even 249 that dealer insisted on for "overhead",what BS! ) except tax, tag and title. I know it's not the best deal ever, but I don't think I got beat-up too bad. Whataya think ?
Thanks again, Hamhead
To play devils advocate, your statement
"the Sequoia has the exact same 4WD system as the Land Cruiser (and LX 470) with the exception of the ability to be in 2WD" is contradictory.
Do you know which case is closer to the truth?
cheers
Then again, you'd buy this truck for little Muffy the Mrs. who puts 4 miles a day on it....
Hope this clear this up!

I'd like to think you are right because that would mean less wear on the front drive components and a little better summer mileage, but in theory it could be done either way.
Thanks...
(which is rumored to be $100)
Wireless remote control switch = $50
or
Existing Low beam circuit driving relay = $10 (fog lights always on with low beams) Please...no flames on the wisdom of this choice. There's an existing another forum for that.

Why ?
Anyone with kids young enough for car seats has no business in a 42-thousand dollar truck. You belong in a 1975 Plymouth Duster, vinyl seats, bald snow tires, and no a/c.
Then again, you'd buy this truck for little Muffy the Mrs. who puts 4 miles a day on it....
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Enjoy your LX470

"maybe I'm just an [non-permissible content removed]"
uhhhh....yep
Tha absolute lowest cost method is that you just connect the low beam wire of the headlight to the fog light.
Some people object to that mode of operation.
cheers

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
You should say housewives in fact work harder....not probably!!!!
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
Enjoy & Happy motoring

Now back to our regularly scheduled program...
Anybody want to discuss the Sequoia?
There was a review of the Sequoia in this weeks Sunday Boston Globe. The review was very favorable, generally refering to the Sequoia as the new standard for full size SUV's (going from memory here). What was funny was that in the 'Pros and Cons' section the only 'con' they had was that dirt built up on the running boards and that snow and ice may build up as well.
I guess that's it. Recall city, I'm getting rid of mine. Anyone want a slightly used Sequoia with dirty running boards?
