    as always GM`s sbc has 8 engines in this list making the first 2 vette `S sbc engine probably the most important v8 engine of all time an example to follow. , the hennesey venom, he ssc aero untimate, the second fastest actual supercar in the market, the senvo st1 a danish supercar vette powered, the vector a californian supercar builder, the plethore LSC 750 ,vettes canadian supercar,the camaro the vette, and the caddy as expected ans then in the midle of this list we have some mercedez, vipers bmws, and ford engines put in diferent supercars name plate, which means that are great engines too, but some how the great small block chevy happens to be the king of the hill.

    Interesting error leaving off the Lexus LFA Nurburgring Edition (562 HP), when you actually mentioned the LFA in the article.

    It would also remove one of the redundant BMW SUVs from the list at #100, which would improve the list's quality, with the same engine in both vehicles.

    Where's the Mustang GT1000 with 1100HP??? There is Hennessey in the list so why not Shelby American?

    My cousin he reads's Car Craft and he told me that my Mustang is the third fastest car in the world. We took that 289 and put 312 heads on it an Edelbrock high rise manifold and a Holley 850 duel feed double pumper. The cam is a secret grind and the exhaust is stock. But it really turns heads with those 285 / 70 / 15's on the back and itty-bitty 185 /75/ 14's on the front. It pulls the wheels up off the ground when the tires hook up. (It's got 4.88 rear end gears but no posi, yet.
    So if your out their in your Buggetti watch out--MY mustang is the third fastest car in the world. Car Craft bilt one and couldn't keep it on the dyno it was so fast.

    Blah-Blah-Blah, this list is [non-permissible content removed] full of Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Porsche's, Bently's, BMW's, Mercedes Benz, and other [non-permissible content removed] that are even more exotic & impossible for someone in the middle class (United States) to ever even be able to get their hands on, or even RIDE in. You know why the original "the Fast & the Furious" was such a huge success?!? because it showed cars that wouldn't be out of reach to begin with that were modified... 1995 Volkswagen Jetta (Jessie), 1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse (Brian Car #1), 1997 Nissan Maxima (Vince), Nissan 240SX (Letty), Honda Accord Wagon (Hector), Honda Civic (RJ DeVera's Cameo in the 1st street race of the movie), Leon's Yellow Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R (Nismo 400R clone), Vin Diesel's RX-7 & Brian's 3rd car of the movie, the Orange Toyota Supra Twin Turbo ("a 2JZ engine, no [non-permissible content removed]!!" when it comes destroyed off the back of a flatbed...) Those all fall into the category of cars normal people wouldn't be able to get their hands on with much ease...

    I guess we're not including manufacturer race cars, but it's worth noting that the Porsche 917/30 could put out 1580 HP !! And this in 1973.
